Trigger Warning for Gore

A day has passed since then. Ash and Envy were walking down to the kitchen, and looking to clear some of her confusion, Envy goes, "So~....about Khai..?" She trails off, teasingly. Ash groans, grumbling out "I can't believe you saw that- I didn't think you'd follow me." Envy laughs, smirking playfully. "I believe I did! Now spill!!" She says, bumping the older with her shoulder, almost knocking the other over.

"Well- We have some history together- But some things happened and we stopped hanging out." Envy's eyes widen to the size of plates. "You guys dated??" Ash shrugs, "Ehh- I guess? None of us actually said it. We both just assumed we were." envy nodded, walking a bit slower. "Sooo are you guys back together now?" She questions, eyeing Ash. He laughs. "Pfff- I wish"

"yOU WISH?? But what about the maidens in the village?And the Chef?" Ash waves his hand dismissively "Just..distractions." Envy presses, "from what?" Ash squints. "You ask a lot of fucking questions, y'know that?" Envy only smiles mischievously, and Ash continues. "Though- If we were to get back together, I'd drop them as soon as possible." Envy almost trips, turning to the older.  "SO GET BACK TOGETHER?"

Ash pushes her shoulder. "We're not ready yet, dumbass." Envy whines, "bUT-" ash is quick to interrupt, walking faster. "Let's change the subject" Envy only huffs and groans, "Okay fine. Do you know when Knight Mika and Qwen are coming back?" Ash thinks, looking up in thought. "Well, it takes about 2 days to get to the Vianna kingdom itself, and 3 to get to the actual castle. But I'm sure there are some knights patrolling around the kingdom, after all, they are a high surveillance kingdom." Ash Muses, "They should be back by tomorrow morning. Any later and we should assume they're dead." A chill runs down envy's back. "Okay.." Ash continues. "When they- If they get back though, You cannot die. If I end up getting hurt, your to leave without me."

Envy gapes, almost as if she's offended. "Don't be like that!" Ash rolls his eyes. "I'm serious- I've been a knight long enough, you've only just started. For Fucks sake- you've only been a knight for 3 days."

Envy's eyes widen. "only three days??? it's been that long???" She thought. Ash sighs, stopping to lean up against a wall. "Listen. Here's the plan. Once we get in, we'll say that we've been newly hired and that we were designated to guard the dungeon. Once they bring us, you have to kill them while I hold them still." Envy flinches. "wHAT? WHY ME?" Ash points at her, almost scolding.  "You are not strong enough to hold them still." Envy, taking offense, huffs. "You dick- I'm totally strong!" Envy says, pushing out her chest. Ash rolls his eyes at the younger's childish display."Suuure you are." Envy puts her hands on her hips.

"You wanna fight?! I'll take you any day!" Envy challenges playfully. Ash only laughs, pushing himself up off the wall and walking again. "I only put shows on for the ladies~" Envy holds in a laugh. "And apparently the men too!" And Ash hits the back of her head swiftly.

As they're walking, Khai walks up to the pair. "King Kairi needs you two in the Throne room immediately." Envy perks up immediately, "Wait, why?" Khai responds quickly, maintaining eye contact with her with a straight face. "Mika and Qwen are back with the armor." Ash perks up this time with a confused, "What? It takes like two days to get to Vianna!" Khai doesn't look at Ash, but somewhere behind him as the tips of his ears dust a small pink. However, his voice stays monotone. "Apparently there are quite a few Knights in keljamt causing trouble right now- Almost half the secondary knights have been sent in groups to go find and kill them," Khai explains, looking back at Envy.

The newly promoted Knight wasted no time "Shit- Okay let's go!" Before they both run off, Khai stops Ash with a hand on his shoulder. "Your okay right?" Ash smiles reassuringly. "Yeah, I'm fine, Don't worry!" Khai grins softly, almost unnoticeable. "Don't die on me, okay?" Ash smiles, nudging the shorter. "Of course! After all, I still have to take you back to our spot right?" Khoi flushed and quickly goes on his tippy toes, kisses Ash's cheek, and then pushes him. Fortunately, he doesn't fall, he just span on his heel to catch himself. Khai quickly says, "Don't fucking die!" and speedwalks away. Envy elbows him with a cheeky smile, and Ash rolls his eyes, blushing.
