Ms.Tanna paced around her room, tears still wet on her cheeks. That execution... She shook her head, she couldn't help but feel as if it was her fault. Seeing that Knight's head roll to the ground, her "mother" grinning at the brutality, her father's stone cold expression, and lastly, her friends screaming in sorrow.

She couldn't bare it. The bolder of guilt crushing her spine and spirit. She couldn't bare to face either of the Keljamtians now- The expression on their faces would be unbearable to look at, Knowing that she played a big part on their dear friends death.

Tears slipped from her eyes for the thousandth time. She may not have known him long, but it doesn't escape the fact that she's now a murderer. At least by her definition, anyway. She's the princess! She could've stopped it, or at least postponed it from happening, couldn't she? The Knight didn't have to die like that. The weight on her shoulders is almost too much to bare as she paced around her room once again, making her dizzy.

What should she do? What CAN she do? God- If it wasn't for that dammed Elyza. The second she stepped into this castle, she'd stirred up trouble like never before. Elyza. Elyza. Elyza. She pursed her lips in anger, tasting the salty tears that was once there. Elyza. Elyza and her ruthlessness. Elyza and her dispositioned authority. Elyza and her cruelty.

Then,

And only then,

She got it. Why doesn't she just...release them? An idea just as simple as that. They'd definitely find some way of transportation in the village and find their way home. Sure, the princess might get in a OUSTANDING amount of trouble for it, but it's worth it. It's completely worth it! She owes it to them. After all she's done. She gulps around the knot in her throat. Enough thinking. It's time to act. She runs down the stairs, hopping over some steps, through the main building and into the jailed area. The guard there seems different, but strong either way. He looks down at her, confused. "Princess, what are you doing here?" His deep, yet somehow friendly, voice says, dipping into a small bow.

Tanna doesn't let his respect falter her motive, though. "Let me through. I need to discuss something with one of our prisoners." The guard squints, suspicious. "About...?"

Tanna cannot do this right now. The longer that Princess Samantha and Princess Taylanie are here, the more danger that the two are in. Tanna puffs out her chest, shifts her weight to one leg and gives the meanest glare she could muster. "Who are YOU to question me? I am the Princess of Vianna Extrungest Kingdom, and you WILL obey my orders. Unless you want to accompany the prisoners in there, I suggest you move out of my way." She demands, voice cold. The guard freezes, confused but, frightened nonetheless. He steps aside. "You may pass, my apologies princess." And she steps through into the jailhouse.

she almost jumps of joy when she gets inside.  She's never been that mean before!! Woah!! She almost bounces on her toes as she walks, feeling cool. But as she reaches her destination, she remembers what she's here for, and regains her composure. She grips the handle, takes a deep breath, and opens it. As soon as she gains sight of the two, she almost bursts into tears. Samantha's eye, Taylanie's leg, the tears and snot running down their faces, the pained expressions, the splashed blood from their previous comrade staining their clothes.

"Princesses..." She whispers, voice shakey. Sam slowly lifts her head up, looking at the younger. "Didn't I tell you to leave already?" Shee puts her head back down, feeling defeated. "...You've done enough." Tanna's lip wiggles, but she won't cry. "I'm here to get you out of h-"

"I SAID YOUVE DONE ENOUGH." Sam screams through tears. Taylanie picks her head up, and looks at Tanna with more hurt in her eyes than she could imagine. "Just leave, Tan." A stab to the chest, is what it felt like. Tanna looked at the shackles, back to them, and turned around,

And left the room.

The sisters put their heads back down, too tired to talk about how they actually thought their friend—Or former friend— was actually gonna save them.

Tanna bursts through the door again, this time, with a wheel of keys in her hand. Both sisters jumped, looking at her as she dropped to her knees, scrambling as she tries out keys, shoving each one in the lock's hole. "What-?! tanna- I thought I told you-"

"And I thought I told you that I was gonna get you out of here!!" She says, trying out keys as quick as she can. Taylanie almost bursts into tears. "Tanna- Your-" She sniffs, "Your not really.." Tanna finally fits a key into the slot and releases he shackles on Taylanie's hands. "I am. I owe it to you both after the hospitality you and your friends and family have shown me while you were training me." She smiles hurriedly, switching to Sam's hands as Taylanie rubs at her wrists. Dabbling through keys, Tanna shouts. "Quickly!! I stole these keys from the guard. He's going to be back here any minu-"

BANG.

Not from in the cell, or the jailhouse, but from outside. Tanna knows what that means, and she needs to go quicker. Taylanie looks back at tanna. "Tan- I cant. I cant leave Tanna. I cant." She sobs, gesturing to her dismembered leg. Tanna looks over, and then back to Sam. "You have to crawl. I might be wrong but- I think your family is outside. they will help you. Please- Just get out of here!!" Tanna yells desperately, dramatically flipping through keys for sams cuffs. Taylanie tears up, but scoots off the seat and falls to the ground and crawls to the exit they were hiding. before she elbows out the hole, she yells, "Thank you, Tanna!" Through tears as she crawls out.

Tanna smiles, but doesn't stop her search through the keys. "Tanna- Tanna oh my god." And the only time Tanna stops her search for the key, is to look up at Sam, in tears. "I'm so sorry I ever doubted you- I'm so sorr-" Tanna inturrupts her quickly. "There's no time for sorries! Sam I look up to you greatly, and will appreciate you no matter what. But please, I'm the only one who should be saying sorry!" She says through tears. Suddenly, as she's shoving keys through holes, one fits. Tanna gasps, she found it! She puts the key through the keyhole, twists, and—

The door bursts open. "T-ANNA what in gods name are you doing?!" Her stepmother hollers as the cuff comes loose.
