                  ⛔ { CHAPTER ONE }  1⃣

              [ THE RABBIT AND THE TROLL ]

  A year and a half after the great apocalypse war.

In a remote dark forest far far away but near the windy mountains, lives a little lone white furred rabbit. But this rabbit is no much ordinary as it may appear. It might be look to be so small and cute, but it is quite a rare and special type of breed compared to all the others.

  Not so long ago, this rabbit became the only survivor of a very gruesome occurrence. It hasn’t always been on it’s own you see. It used to live in a colony of rabbits in a different area of this very forest, back when it was really young. There was over one hundred rabbits living there. Until one day, they suffered their fate at the claws of merciless predators that are a few levels above the rabbits on the food chain. The crows. They came out of nowhere on the day of the attack. They stroke when the rabbits least expected it, and they were  just as many as the colony. They brought mayhem with them.  There was no where to hide for any rabbits, not even their rabbit holes could save them.

  This rabbit got lucky because during the commotion, in a desperate act, it squeezed itself in a very small space between two big rocks in the ground. The space was so small the crows couldn’t get in, they tried but failed. But then again, it was too small to fit more than one rabbit, Infact, even one rabbit could not really fit comfortably. Good thing this one was small at that time and it was a desperate time that called for desperate measures. Through the small hole it went in, the rabbit watched it’s colony suffer. Some of the rabbits where carried away, while the rest of them where ripped apart and eaten on the spot. It was bloody and horrific. The crows did not stop until all the rabbits were taken or killed. Then they left. But they forget about the rabbit in the stone.

   After experiencing that horrific incident, this rabbit was so terrified, that it stayed in the rock for two days straight, with no food or water. Until the third day it made peace with the fact that it was all alone and there was no one to help it. Survival was in it’s own hands now.  And that is when this rabbit went from being an ordinary rabbit, to a miracle man has never seen before.

  It migrated from that horrible place, to a different part of the forest near a stream, where it dug tunnels like no other. Tunnels that a normal rabbit is intellectually incapable of building. These tunnels had a system such that only a human craftsman could be able to construct. They had traps to keep intruders out, like the flooding system that it built that had a trigger such that when an intruder comes in and makes the wrong step near the entrance, the tunnel would collapse behind then to trap them, which would now lead way for the water from the stream to flood that area of the tunnel consequently drowning the intruder. Only a human would be that smart enough to think of such, but this rabbit broke that fact. This was just one among all the other smart traps in set through out the large system of tunnels it built. The tunnel would lead to different parts of the forest which made it easy for the rabbit to travel without being seen. It was no easy task. It took months and more months  to build,and this rabbit was dedicated and calculative.  It made sure the tunnels would allow it to easily get away from any predators compared to the tunnels it’s colony had built. On it’s own, it built tunnels better than a whole colony of rabbits had built. It learned survival the hard way. It’s intellect helped it survive all that while.

  That was what made the rabbit so special. It was such a small creature but with the brain power of a very intelligent human. It was a craftsman rabbit.It knew it’s calculations and it had fascinating planning.The tunnel system it built, if discovered, would have been immediately put among earth’s greatest wonders and would go down in history books. The rabbit itself would be a great discovery given it’s intellect. No animal would be as smart as this one. Given the chance to be taught well, this rabbit had the potential to solve earth’s greatest problems or even find the cure to terminal illnesses like cancer. That’s how smart it was. The greatest thing on earth. A genius rabbit.
