"sure we can hang out again." Moni said on the phone with Ally. the girl from the grocery store.
"great, you want to go get go to the mall and maybe grab something to eat after?" ally asked.
"that actually sounds great, can we get our nails done before tho? I was already going to go today." Moni asked looking at her hands.
"sure. I could use a new set anyways." Ally said.
"great, Ill get ready and we can meet at the nail salon?" Moni said as she got out of bed. "ok see you there." Ally said before they both hung up.
Moni hopped in the shower doing her regular hygiene things before getting dressed. She wanted to dress comfortably.
she put black joggers,a black t-shirt with a matching jacket, and her black forces. she paired it with a small gold chains and matching anklet.
Leon was at Layla's for the day so Moni the rest of the day to herself.
she texted Ally on the way out the door letting her know that she was on the way to the nail salon.
pulling up to the shop she saw Ally already there. she parked before walking over to Ally.
"hey." Moni said with a small smile. "hi." Ally dragged as she smiled at Moni. "you are glowing." Ally said complimenting Moni.
"thank you." Moni smiled as they both walked into the nail salon.
They both sat down in the waiting area before a woman walked over to them. she guided them to they seats before asking them for their inspiration.
Moni showed her a picture of nails she'd been looking at on the way over. Ally just chose a plain blue color.
they sat in the nail salon for a while just talking with the lady and she told them about her life, her husband, and kids and why she didn't talk to her mom.
"owe your nails are pretty." Ally said as they both walked towards Lamoni's car. "yours are cute too." Moni said
"alright now the mall." Moni said as she got in her car. "should we just ride together?" Ally asked.
"yea just get in" Moni said ally got in and they pulled off.

"what do you mean he's dead?" Elijah questioned his mom as they sat in the living room of her home.
"I don't know, Momma called me crying last night and told me that he had been gunned down in his apartment complex.
"What." was all Khalil said as he rubbed his hands through his hair.
"first dad, now Levi. What the fuck." Elijah said a he did the same as Khalil.
"I know we keep losing people. Left and right." Tasha said as she thought back to the last time she had spoken to Levi.
how rude she was,she began to regret how she spoke to him. she didn't know he was gonna die.
"i know today would typically be a sad dad but it doesn't have to be." Tasha said fixing her face.
