"I'm fucking confused." Khalil said as he just stared at Lerron, Ka'sani, and Laylani. they were all now in the living room sitting down.
it was Tasha, Elijah, Khalil, Tae, Jay, Myzell, Leon, Layla, the baby, Lerron, Ka'sani, and Laylani.
King left a little earlier he didn't stay to listen to the explanation because it wasn't his business.
"we had to." "Where's moni?" "I'm sorry." They all said at the same time.
"how about we go one at a time." Eli said.
"i'll go first." Lerron said as Ka'sani and Laylani just sat back. "i know you guys are all confused. How we know each other, what's going on, and why we had to leave fa so long." Lerron said.
"hell yea we confused." Jay said cutting him off. Tae popped him on the back of the head causing him to sit back.
"I think everybody should be here as you guys are explaining." Tasha said staring at the floor.
she couldn't look Lerron in the eyes. She couldn't believe he left her for all this time. He let her Morn his death and he wasn't even gone.
she was extremely hurt. but she couldn't find it in herself to truly be mad at him cause he was here sitting in front of her.
not her imagination it was truly him. She knew he had to have a valid reason to fake his death because he would never leave his kids for all that time willingly.
"alright where is Lamoni?" Lerron said causing Layla to speak up.
"she texted me about ten minutes ago, she said she was on the way." She said causing everybody to nod their heads.
"should we wait?" Layla said again she knew moni would want to be here when all the explaining started.
"Yea we should." Laylani said.
"ight let me know when she get here." Elijah said blankly before standing up.
"Elijah." Tasha said trying to get him to come back to the couch. He just kept walking going the room he still had here.
he went up the stairs slamming the door behind him. He was mad. Mad that his dad wasn't dead but left him.
and he was mad that Moni's parents did the same thing to her and Leon. he know he didn't know them, but he knew Moni and leon went through shit, she may not have told him but he could just tell.
"he was doing so good." Tasha said referring to Eli's mood swings. She didn't want all the things going on to cause him to give up on treating himself.
She knew that there was a possibility of him relapsing and if he did start drinking lean and popping percs again than he may stop taking his meds and be back to square one.
"it's ight ma. He gon be cool inna minute give. him a lil time. He can be mad." Khalil said lowly to Tasha he papped her back before walking to his old room.
"Aye you look but like Moni ass." Jay said as he stared at Laylani. this wasn't even him being his usual self, she genuinely did look just like Lamoni.
