April's POV

"It's fine. I'll go home with my bike. You go ahead," I had to convince Kyle few times to usher him away. He, of course, thinks it's a very bad idea to leave me with the other guy who just 'saved' me. He looks at me, then eyes in annoyance the guy that's waiting few steps behind us. "Kyle... just go. I'll see you tonight," I push him lightly as he seems so hesitant to leave, he had his lunch date though. Just go already, this guy...

Kyle finally backs away, turning around few times before he disappeares from our sights. I turn around, meeting eyes with a pair of lovely ones.

"Hey, I'm sorry for just now," Jimin says. He's referring to the awkwardly intense moment he shared with Kyle just now. After pushing away Kyle's hand, the two guys were having a zealous staring contest or something that I had to shout their names to break it away. Even after introducing the two, the tension still seems to not go away. I smile remembering it.

"It's fine, it's not your fault. It must've looked weird, our interaction, that you have to came in," I chuckle. "Wait- how are you here?"

"I was watching you singing. I'm one of your fan, y'know. Then that friend of yours had to come and ruined you perform, of course," Jimin says in annoyance. I laugh.

At the same time I notice few people passing by seems to look at us longer than usual, and give us weird looks. Is there something wrong? I look around. Jimin must have noticed it too. He then puts his mask back on. How strange.

"How'd you know I sing here?" I ask. Jimin hesitates for a second but he was about to answer when suddenly the sky rumbles loudly, stopping his words. We look at each other. Oh no. Few seconds after the rumbling, it's suddenly pouring. Guess my hunch this morning was wrong after all.

I panickly rush packing up my guitar and other stuffs, thank God there's Jimin giving a hand so I finish faster.

"Let's go!" Jimin takes my hand and we jog in the rain to find a shelter. I was about to sling my guitar bag on my shoulder when Jimin takes the bag away. He helps me carry it the whole way. I flash him a smile. Before we got totally soaked, Jimin leads us inside a fast food place. Entering the place, the craveable smell made my stomach growls, realising I haven't had anything since morning. I instinctively hold my tummy.

Jimin must've heard it too as he chuckles. "Let's eat something, shall we?" I nod, giving him a shy smile.

We ordered and find a place near the window. We sit across each other, made a brief eye contact before Jimin turns to look outside. He's shy. How cute. I smile while looking away too. He looks too fascinated by how the wind blowing outside made the window glasses awashed with rain droplets.

"I actually know you," Jimin suddenly says. He turns to look at me. I raise my eyebrows in confusion. He continues, "No, I mean- I've heard you sing here even before I know you work at the cafe," he smiles. "Well to be honest..." he tells me the story on how he heard me singing a song he's familiar with on the same street earlier, but he couldn't find me, then further searching for me weeks and months after, only to accidentally find me working in the cafe.

"You have an incredibly captivating voice, you know," he says while looking down. Again, he's shy. I'm in a total awe hearing the story, how he's been searching for me? That's  amazingly fluttering.

"I- I don't know what to say," I chuckle nervously. "Well- thank you for the compliment," we lock eyes. "You didn't have to go through all that though. I'm not someone worthy of that. I must say I'm very fluttered," Jimin smiles shyly.

Just then, our orders arrive. The waiter leaves after we thank him. "Dig in," Jimin says.

Simultaneously, we both reach out for the ketchup at the same time. "Oh you go ahead," I gesture my hand for him to go first. He smiles, taking the bottle and squeezes the ketchup into my plate first. "Thank youuu~" I grin. So sweet teehee.

"Nah. You're so much worth it," he continues, countering my statement from before," I blush to that. "Anyway, I've found you now. Amazing how we're actually closer than I thought. Remember you were singing Butterfly that day? I knew it was you right away," he giggles.

"Ah- no wonder..." the moment we first met that day flashes through my mind. No wonder he acts so weird that day lol.

While eating, we continue chatting about many other things after that, about Big Hit, and about Kyle lmao. Then Jimin's phone rings.

"Nae, hyung," he replies to the caller. They're talking about something before Jimin replies with, "Alright I'll be there," I guess that's our cue to go.

"Shall we go?" I ask him after he finishes talking on the phone. He seems reluctant to leave.

"But it's still raining outside," he motions outside. "Hm I think it's fine, it's not that heavy like before," I reply.

"You came with bike, right?" Jimin asks. I nod. "Let me take you home. It's still drizzling," he offers.

"Oh no, I'm totally fine-" I was about to reject his kind offer but he replies with a cute "Come on~~" I laugh. He takes that as a yes and quickly pay for our lunch. We then walk outside and he leads us to where his car was parked.

"This is me," I show Jimin my house upon arriving and he pulls over to the side. "Well- thank you so so much Jimin-shi," I remark and gives him a smile.

"You don't want to stop by for a minute?" I offer. "Ah, I'd love to. But I'm needed somewhere," he sighs.

"Oh, it's alright. Next time, okay?" I smile. I take my guitar from the back of his car and slowly walk towards the house.

"April!" he calls. I turn around. "See you on Monday!" Jimin says cheerfully. "See you!" I say, waving my hand goodbye. Yet he's still not leaving. I motion with my hands that he can go. He chuckles lightly before driving away. I watch his car goes until it disappeared from my sight and walk inside the house with a light heart.
