"We're home!" April & Kang Soo both shouts at the door. She scans the entrance. Kang Woo's home, but there's another pair of male shoes, not any of them's. She stares for a while longer and a sense of familiarity strucks her.
Kang Soo brushes past her and walks into the house. "Kyle!" April heard his little brother shouts. She rushes to the living room.
"Oh my God!!!" April runs towards the familiar face and embraces him in a tight hug. "What are you doing here?! I thought you're in London?" April asks after they break off the hug.
"Ah- I have to come home cause I missed you so much it's unbearable," Kyle smirks. "Ehem," Kang Woo clears his throat. "Hahaha, little Kang Woo has turned into a fine man. But you're still as protective as ever over your noona huh," Kyle teases.
"Oh I missed you, Kyle!" April almost jumps out of joy. It's her high school best friend, Kyle and they haven't met since graduation. Kyle was also one of the best part of April's life. He's one of the sweet memory stored in the house as they spent lots of time together back then. Kyle has known April even before her parents' death and he was there for her when she felt incredibly lost when her parents' gone. For April, Kyle had always been special. Her brothers also know Kyle very well, especially Kang Soo who is extra fond of the man.
"How long you'll be here? We have to hang out! I have sooo much to tell you. Oh where will you stay? Your parents'?" April asks in excitement.
"Oh, no. I'll be staying in town. My girlfriend's flat," Kyle replies put a momentary silence in the living room.
April jerks her eyebrows while maintaining a smile. "Oops this is awkward. Come on Kang Soo, let's get you cleaned," Kang Woo steps up filling the silence, dragging her little brother's hand. April smacks her brother's arms before he makes his way upstairs.
"Don't worry. It's not awkward. I just- I was shocked, y'know," April gives out a small laugh. She quietly admits in her heart that she did had a little feelings for Kyle, but she realised it was most probably only because he was the one there when she was having the hardest time in her life. It's not a romantic love or anything. More towards grateful love and affection towards a very special friend.
"I know. We were too good to be ruined by romanticism, right?" Kyle laughs. April joins him. "Yeah, and I was just feeling sorry for whoever she is. What an unlucky girl to be associated with an ass like you," April laughs when Kyle pushes her jokingly.
"So tell me, what do I miss, all these years?"

"Noona, open up," Kang Woo has been knocking over his sister's bedroom door for almost 10 minutes now. After they sent off Kyle just now, his sister straight away went to her room and stayed silent for almost an hour and a half now. 'Why do i have to have a sister this stupid it's embarrassing,' Kang Woo mutters to himself.
He knew exactly his noona had feelings for the guy earlier. Knowing the fact that Kyle had a girl now, must shattered his sister's heart though she would never admit it. Proof is, the stupid sister won't budge from her room, not opening the door, in some kind of hunger strike for being too heartbroken? What a fool.
He was about to yell when the lock clicks open. He slowly enters the room, facing a figure flat-lying on the bed with her face down. "Kang Woo-yah..." April calls slowly.
Kang Woo takes his seat on the bed beside his sister. "Hm?"
"I'm such a fool, right," April mutters under her breath. "Noona.... you are, indeed," Kang Woo replies with straight face. April picks up a pillow and smashes it to the right side of her brother's face.
Kang Woo laughs before laying down beside his sister. "No, noona. You guys said it yourself that you're all too good to be ruined by romantics right?"
"You nosy little dork," April says. Kang Woo laughs hearing her sister. "Not my fault that you guys decided to talk in this house, she ain't sound proof,"
"Anyway, it's not like you guys made promises or anything, right? Let's move on, noona yah~" Kang Woo takes his sister's hand. "You know, you are working in a building filled with people thousands more handsome than him and they also come in a bunch, noona. Might as well take advantage of that," for the remark, Kang Woo gains another pillow-smack on the face.
"Ah, get out now, you're annoying," April grumbles pushing her brother away jokingly. "Hahaha. I said what I said, noona," Kang Woo gets up and walks away, but not before turning around, "Go eat your dinner. I'm gonna check on Kang Soo, you irresponsible b*tch,"
