Chapter 12

HE WAS STARING AT CELESTIA who fell asleep on his arms. Napakaamo ng mukha nito habang natutulog.

Bumangon siya at lumabas ng kuwarto para uminom ng tubig. He saw Zico staring at the window.

"Bakit hindi ka pa natutulog?" tanong niya. Lumingon ito sa kanya saka rin ibinalik ang tingin sa labas ng bintana.

"I know what happened to mom when she was young." bulong nito. Napatigil siya sa pag-inom ng tubig saka tumitig rito.

"She suffers because of that bastard." dagdag pa nito.

Alam niya kung sino ang tinutukoy nito. It was Martin Clemente.

"Hindi ko siya mapapatawad sa ginawa niya sa mama ko, hindi ko sila mapapatawad." lumingon ito saka tumitig sa kanya.

"My mom suffers because of him. Alam mo hindi ba? "

Tumango siya.

"What do you think of me?"tanong nito.

Naguguluhan siya.

"Do I resembles him?"

Hindi niya ito sinagot.

Natawa ito.

"I saw him." anito saka ulit tumitig sa labas ng bintana.

" I wonder what my mom think everytime she looks at me."

"She looks at you with full of love." sagot niya.

"Hmmm... I beat him to death."anito.

Doon siya nagulat.

" What? "

Tumawa ito.

"I beaten Martin Clemente to death. Thanks to papa Damien."
Kumuyom ang mga kamao nito.

" Where is he?" napakuyom rin siya ng kamao. He was mad. He wanted to beat Martin Clemente to death too.

"In prison."

"H-how?"

"Dapat matagal na siyang nabulok sa kulungan."

Zamrex was staring at Zico. Para itong matanda kung mag-isip at magsalita. He admire him for that.

"He turned over himself. I wonder why though. Bakit hindi noon?"

"Alam niya ban-----"

Hindi pa natatapos ang kanyang tanong nang tumango ito at sinagot siya.

"I resembles him a lot. Tanga siya kung hindi niya napansin iyon. Fuck him to death." seryosong anito.

"When he saw me... He was asking for forgiveness. I doubt if he deseves it."

Lumapit siya rito saka ginulo ang buhok nito.

"I am telling you. Forgiving would lead us to happiness. Mababawasan ang bigat ng nararamdaman natin kapag nagpatawad tayo. My mom would always say that. She forgive and gave Dad a second chance. Look at them, look at us. We are happy. "

" But your eyes says the opposite. "anito.

Natawa siya.

"Well I am sinner. I already beaten him to death. My forgiveness doesnt deserve him. Do you know, there are a lot of people who doesn't deserve forgiveness and doesnt deserve a second chances. What do you think? Does he deserve to be forgiven?"

Napatitig ito sa kanya.

He smiled.

"That thought gives me troubles too." tinapik niya ito sa balikat.
