Chapter 6

SOBRANG TAHIMIK NILA HABANG KUMAKAIN. Zico has this pokerface while eating. Zamrex was stealing glances of her and sometimes on Zico.  She was observing the two.

Nang matapos ng kumain si Zico. Lumapit ito sa kanya at hinalikan sya sa noo bago nagpaalam na papasok na sa school. Bago ito umalis. Tinitigan nito ng madilim si Zamrex.

Hindi nya alam ang sasabihin nya kay Zamrex ng maiwan silang dalawa.

"You know how shook I was when he introduced himself as your son?" hindi mababakas ang galit sa boses nito. He looks really shocked but not mad.

She's too speechless and can't utter a single word matapos nyang malaman na alam na nitong anak nya si Zico.

" I was jealous for nothing. Fuck!"bulong nito na dinig nya.

She cleared her throat.

"You're not mad?" nag-aalalang tanong nya rito.

Sumeryoso ito at tinitigan sya.

"I'm not."

"Ititigil mo na ba ang panliligaw sa'kin?" she asked while staring at him.

"Why the hell would I stop?" balik na tanong nito.

"Because I have a son?"

"He's a blessing to you. Why the hell I would stop courting you just because you have a son? He's your hapiness and I am greatful that you have a son like him who could protect you." he said that  like he's thankful that Zico was beside her all the time.

" I was jealous at him first but I'm now relieved." he seems really relieved na para bang hindi big deal dito na mayroon syang anak. That he was okay with it.

Naiyak sya. Zamrex was too good for her.

Lumapit ito sa kanya at inalalayan syang tumayo at saka niyakap.

" Single mothers deserve to be loved and respected. They're a silent hero whom I respected. Kinaya nilang buhayin at palakihin ng mag-isa ang anak nila. You deserve the world Babe." malambing na anito.

She can't stop herself from crying. Who is she to deserve Zamrex?

" Stop crying please..."he wipe her tears gently. " Alam mo bang pangarap ko talagang makapag-asawa ng single mom na katulad mo? "

Makapag-asawa?

" Kahit hindi mo pa ako sinasagot, may balak na akong pakasalan ka. "seryosong anito.  He looked at her intently like he's not joking and he's serious about it.

" I always hear from Dad that single mothers deserve everything in this world. They deserve all the happiness and love. They struggled too much and deserve everything that makes them happy. So I always dreamt of having a wife who's a single mother because I will wholeheartedly give my everything to her. I will fulfill the duty of being a good husband that that fucking  bastard wasted. I wanted to give all the happiness she deserves, I wanted to make her happy, I wanted to pay her back by giving all of me. Gusto kong isipin nya na mayroon pang lalaking tatanggap sa kanya kahit single mother pa man sya. "anito na nakatitig sa kanya ng puno ng pagmamahal.

Hindi nya aakalain na lalabas iyon sa bibig ni Zamrex. She thought that no man has that kind of thinking.

Akala nya na ang isang Zamrex Dave Harris ay sarili at reputasyon ang iniisip. He's a successful bachelor after all. Ang kagaya nyang may sabit ay hindi bagay sa katulad ni Zamrex na mayaman at iniingatan and reputasyon nito but to her surprise, Zamrex wanted her. He wanted a woman like her.

" My mom raised me until I was five because she run away from Dad. Kaya alam ni Daddy na kailangang mahalin at respetuhin ang mga inang  binubuhay ang anak nila ng mag-isa. He knows what struggles my Mom faced when she raised me alone. Kaya palaging itinatatak ni Daddy sa akin na single mothers deserve the world, that she deserve every happiness and respect, that a single mother is worth to be loved for. "
