This doesn't really count as a spoiler to me, if you're here reading obey me stuff, there's like a 90% chance that you know that Barbatos has time powers, he can go to the past and future by going through one of the many doors in his room. I found out about his powers on the home screen, one of the brothers had mentioned it while I was on chapter 4 or 5.
I will write one oneshots and scenarios for everyone including Barbatos, there's just one problem that I don't wanna deal with.
Whenever I see an author use his abilities correctly (which isn't very often sadly), a bunch of readers are quick to comment "CaNt He JuSt SeE tHe FuTuRe"
I just..... do y'all think that when the day is over, he just grabs a bag of popcorn and jumps through time? Like a hobby? It's not a hobby.
Some readers and authors make him seem like someone who knows everything because he has time powers, no, he can be just as shook as the others. Here is what he says in lesson 15-17.

As you can see, he needs permission from Diavolo to even use these powers and even if he was given full permission to use it whenever he wanted, he thinks that it would make life boring and predictable.
It makes sense that Diavolo would limit it, Barbatos literally warns you that if you mess up, you can WARP HISTORY, idk about you guys but that doesn't sound too good.
I see so much people wondering why he's so underrated but then I see those people say he's a boring character because he always knows what's going to happen so you can't surprise him and such.
The oneshots I see with him are fine I guess, scenarios though, wtf. I've read quite a few scenarios where all the other characters had really nice, lengthy stories and then when I reach Barbatos it's like "So he can see the future so he'll know and avoid the situation so yeah... the end uwu" and you wonder why people think he's boring.
I see it happening with youtube videos too, I like to watch those "Characters reactions" vids and around 90% of them have Barbatos know what MC is gonna say, it makes his part of the video hella boring.
So yeah this is just a little pet peeve, people can write whatever the hell they want and think whatever they want. I never gave a shit about how Barbatos stories were written at first but the more I read, the more common this issue was so now I give a shit.
I honestly think most of the readers just don't know much about him and I don't blame you, he's a mysterious guy which is why I took the time to write this. I'm probably overreacting cause Barbatos is one of my favorites but I don't care at this point, let me bitch in peace.
If you actually read all of that then dang you are dedicated, most of this was just me being a picky piece of shit but I appreciate you for sticking with me for it.
It's fine if you didn't read the whole thing, as long as you got the general idea of what I was saying then cool.
TLDR : BARBATOS ISN'T A FORTUNE TELLER STOP TREATING HIM LIKE ONE.
