~Sorrow//January 1st, 2021~
Today will forever be the worst day of Jason and Jake's lives, especially since we woke up this morning to Jake screaming.
Flashback •
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" I jump awake hearing my nephew screaming
"Jake!" I hear Jason's door slam open and two pairs of feet running down the hall and I know Justin's right behind him
Honestly, I don't know how those two are moving right now with all the noise from last night.
I know they didn't want or expect anyone to hear them but Tiff and I sure did.
We were up late last night planning out baby stuff when we heard Jason scream sooo loud. Personally, I never wanted to hear my brother have sex but it was funny.
Anyway, I jump up out of my bed following the commotion to Bethany's room where I find Jason sobbing holding a hysteric Jake
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" He screams as Jason tries to soothe him
I look to the bed and see Mom and Justin trying to revive Beth while taking her vitals.
I watch mom sigh and sit back
"Mom?" Jase asks desperately
She looks up at him sadly and shakes her head
"She's gone" She whispers
Jason lets out a loud sob sinking to the floor holding Jake. Justin rushes over to them holding them close
"Lexi call 911" Mom tells me
End of Flashback •
That leads us to now, all of us sitting around the table; Mom, Jason and I. Brady's at the hospital helping Beth's parents and Jake and Cassie are asleep.
As for Justin? Jason felt bad for how he reacted and told him he wants some time alone.
I know it's bad for Jason to push him away, but he did the same thing when my dad died.
I just hope he doesn't have another relapse.
