We all experience grief and some handle it better than others...
Then there's those select few who grieve in silence...
Those who are forced to keep everything bottled up causing them to lose sight of themselves...
They go around making everyone els...

Today, my life changes forever, I'll be leaving behind everything I've ever known for the unknown that holds new experiences and new adventures.
"Justin honey, are you ready?" My mom calls from downstairs
"Yeah mom" I call back walking through our house in Toronto for the last time.
As I look around, I let out a sad sigh thinking of all the memories I have here. I grew up in this house, had my first kiss here, went to my first prom last year. Canada will forever be in my heart but now it's time to start the new chapter in my life and my family's life and head to Virginia open minded and positive.
I can always come back and after I graduate if I really miss it, I can go to college here. My dad says that there our new house is bigger, better and full of surprises for us and that's why it took so long for us to move but honestly I don't think any house will compare to this one. I walk to the front door taking one last look, this place looks so different being so empty without our stuff in it but I can't dwell on the sadness.
We're getting a new start and I should put my energy into that.
"Here we go" I whisper to myself
"You ready kiddo?" Dad asks patting my back knowing this was hard for me. It's hard for all of us.

I take one last look at the house before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath then nod, "Ready dad"
He hands me the keys letting me lock up, I drop the keys in the mail box and follow him down the stairs getting into our waiting car. We pull away from the house to head for the airport where our private jet is waiting for us.
No going back now

We make it to the airport and seeing the jet waiting for us makes this all the more real.
