Katara-
There was so much blood, it was everywhere. She looked around as everyone ate dinner, she could feel everyone's blood, she should have been scared or alarmed, but every full moon even when she was a child she could feel it, the call to bend and now even without the full moon she could still feel it. The call of blood, and ever since Hama she could feel it more and more and it was getting harder to control.
"I'm taking a walk, Suki can you clean up?" I asked, Suki nodded and she left and went to a small stream she had found. She sat down and looked up at the moon. She hated what Hama did with bloodbending; she now hated that part of her that was pulled toward blood every full moon. She could feel all the animals around her, all the water, all the people. She wanted to be able to control herself, she needed to be able to control herself, but she had no teacher, she had no one to turn to for help or guidance. She was alone and she knew there was no one she could ask for help, no one else knew what this felt like, no one else would understand her, and the one person who could bloodbend was in jail. I sighed and made a bubble of water and had it circle around her. She sat there just feeling the water for a while before something caught her attention, blood, someone else's blood. Many others, she didn't know who any of the blood belonged to but she felt it, and she felt how close it was to everyone else. She dropped the water and ran back in following the call of blood.
"Katara? You okay?" Toph asked as I walked back in.
"There's people coming," I said to Toph. Toph placed a hand on the ground.
"Five people." Toph confirmed. Everyone got up, as Toph led everyone to where the others were coming from.
"Uncle?" Zuko questioned looking at the group of elders.
"Jong Jong? Piandao? Pakku? Bumi? What are you doing here?" Sokka asked.
"We thought you should know that Ozai just attacked the northern water tribe, we came to warn you that Ozai seems to be planning to attack way sooner than we thought" Iroh said.
"What can we do? Aangs not ready to take on the Firelord yet" Haru said.
"Maybe not, but maybe you can slow down his plans. Princess Azula was leading the attack. If we take her down we might slow things down." Pakku said, looking at me.
"And you're looking at me because?" I asked
"You have the highest chance of doing just that," Pakku said.
"You're mad, taking out Ozai is more likely than taking down Azula." Zuko said.
"Why do you think I could take her down? I've been beaten by her and her friends before," I asked, more to Pakku than anyone else.
"Before you didn't know how to bloodbend" Piandao answered.
"How-" she was shocked they knew.
"What's bloodbending?" Teo asked
"When she controls the water inside the blood of people." Jong Jong states
"Katara is not bloodbending anyone" Sokka said
"Even if I did I would need the full moon, and that doesn't last very long" I pointed out.
"Princess Yue is more then willing to bless a daughter of the moon to be able to bloodbend at other times" Iroh said "But maybe if you let yourself learn and open yourself up to the idea you might find that she has already blessed you with that ability" Everyone started talking over each other. Some yelled that the plan would never work. Others that no one's bloodbending. I couldn't stand it, as she let herself give in.
