cheryl and toni used to have a thing a few years ago, in eighth grade. at the time, cheryl was too young to understand what love was, so when toni confessed her love for the girl, cheryl didn't know what to do. now in their sophomore year of high school, cheryl understands and still has feelings for her, but toni has moved on...

"Next, Cheryl Blossom will take the stage, preforming a dong she wrote, called "Water Fountain.""

Cheryl nervously walked on stage, immediately locking eyes with Toni as she sat with her new beau, and closed her eyes. Hoping maybe if she imagined enough, she could still see Toni sitting by the water fountain waiting for her.

She grabbed the mic, as the music started to play, images of Toni smiling at her, while they stood in front of the fountain, or when Cheryl would kiss Toni's lips softly.

"She told me that she loved me by the water fountain

But now she's got a cup of something else in it
It's getting kind of blurry at a quarter-past-ten

She couldn't be at home in the night time because

Cheryl walked off stage, and Toni was waiting for her. "Really? In front of my boyfriend?" Toni scolded.

"Wait-...You told him about the water fountain? That was- That was our place Toni!"

"Yeah well, now it's not."

Cheryl scoffed, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You know what. Whatever, enjoy the stupid old rusty water fountain, I don't care." She left the school, and went home.
