Toni had a hard time with her breakup with Cheryl, and Cheryl has now become this toxic person, in a toxic relationship. It used to bother Toni, and make her jealous but now she's perfectly fine with being alone.

Toni shyly walked up on stage, and sat down on the barstool next to the mic. Immediately locking eyes with Cheryl.
Toni took a deep breath before beginning.

Toni then locked eyes with Cheryl again before continuing. Keeping their eyes locked.

The crowd clapped for Toni, as she rushed off stage, not wanting anyone to see her tears. It was stupid that this song could make her cry, but she couldn't help it.
She rushed out of the building and went straight home, she didn't want to watch other people's lame performances.
