Kabir's P.O.V,

"I swear, I am okay," Jenni said with a forceful smile.

I knew she was lying. It was allover written on her face.

I bent down and sat beside her on one knee. Then held her left leg and tilted it slightly. As I expected, Jenni cried out, "Awuuuu... f*cking sh*t!"

I gave everyone a expression like see..she isn't okay.

Jenni quivered her eyebrows and said, "I-If you held it that harshly, it would hurt. Doesn't it?"

I gave her a disbelieve look and stood up. John narrowed his eyes and said with a disbelieve tone making his voice heavy, "Jenni!"

She again insisted, "Look.. I can st-" she got up to stand but whenever she stood upon her feet, she was falling down. Luckily Rocky caught her at the right time.

Now there was no room left for doubt. Jenni surely hurt her legs. And she was hiding it. We all gave her a glare. She tried to smile slightly, but being falied she let out a sigh instead.

Rocky and I carried her up. This time she without any complain put her one hand on my shoulder and other hand on Rocky's. She was limping using her right leg only. We somehow managed to bring her to the back stage and then let her sit on a bench.

"Aw," She again let out a moan of pain.

"Now I understand what happened...." We heard Lola murmured. We all looked at her with suspicious.

"What are you talking about?" John interrogated.

Lola bent down and lifted Jenni's left leg.

Jenni shouted, "Aw aw aw! Please be gentle!"

Lola said, "Sorry.." Then she turned to us and said,"See.. this heal is broken. That must be occurred when she was dancing."

We leaned on and saw the left one's heel of jeni's shoes was broken and hanging one side of the shoe.

Jenni spoke with shaky voice, "Hmph! In the middle of the performance, it suddenly broke. My left foot was spinned almost 180 degree.."

"How come didn't you fall off then?" Rocky asked.

"Actually I did. But as I am very smart, so I made it look like a form of dancing step. Awwwe.. " She was going to put her left leg over her right one but the pain didn't let her to. So, she remained sitting still.

"Geez Jeni.. that's why I hate heels. It's all your fault, Lola. It was your idea to make her put on heels." John extended the index finger to Lola. Lola widened her eyes. She surely didn't expect it to hear. She barked out, "Me? It's of course not my fault. How do I suppose to know it would be broken?"

"You knew that Jenni wasn't used to wear those.  You knew very well that she have to dance. You should be aware of it. How careless you can be!" John threw his hands over his head angrily.

Lola didn't keep silence too. "Listen John, heels don't break so easily. Millions of people wear them. It is a rear casee when these actually break. I have no idea how those broke even though these are new pair of shoes."

"But why did you take risk? Don't you know how much this competition mean to us?"

"Oh ho.. you are acting like this is your band only, not mine!"

"Yeah that must be the case. Because all you do is roaming around meaninglessly while we work hard."

Lola gasped and put her hand on her chest. Was she going to cry? Yeah.. she put down her spectacles from her eyes and wiped some tears from the corner of her eyes.
