studying for the test, y/n realised, was the best thing she'd ever done for herself because when she arrived to class that morning her tutor had told the class that if people failed it would be a "clear indication that this course meant nothing to them and they retained little from the brief lessons on it", which frankly she didn't understand.

they were brief and a while ago, so how was it any of their faults if they didn't remember it?

most of the class had done a bit of studying on it, but no where near as much as her and izuku had.

this made her feel better about the test because if they both failed at least the rest of the class would be in the same boat.

the test flew by and was fairly easy when she wasnt rummaging around her brain for answers she'd forgotten, and by the end of the hour, she was confident she did well.

sliding her pen into her blazer pocket, y/n grabbed izuku and they legged it to the cafeteria to grab the shitty coffee the school served.

"how'd you find it?" she asked and izuku sighed, tracing a finger around the lid of his coffee cup.

"it was okay, really. i just think they shouldn't expect top scores on exams we havent studied properly in class."

"i know," y/n groans, finding a table to sit at. "hanta never gets exams sprung on him like this."

izuku laughs and nods, "yeah, but he does get physical exams thrown at him."

"really?" she asks, surprised. "he never told me. is that why they're all constantly breaking their suits?"

"probably," he laughs, placing his coffee down on the table. "its annoying how often it happens though."

"right!" she gasps, happy to complain because it really did drive her up the wall. "every week theres another issue. sometimes its three days in a row, too? what are they doing that breaks their suits so often? i mean theyre only fighting each other, right?"

"they go pretty hard in fights, even if its with their own class." izuku explains, looking around at the cafeteria tables. "i just hope they dont start resorting to fights to resolve things out of class." he sighs.

y/n snorts, shaking her head. "i think some of them do that anyway."

he nods and laughs. "probably"

she pulls her phone out to check the time and is surprised when a text pops up immediately. seeing its bakugou, she furrows her brows. he was probably asking for more bio help which she frankly couldn't be bothered to do right now.
