The time runs out

|An enemy from the past|

We were finally in the dark world. It was terrifying but at least it wasn't as dangerous as the train.

"We have to go across the forest in order to go to the city to find the library." Amelia said like she was prepared for anything.

"It's dark but if we don't split i think it will be fine. So Amber stay with as."

"Fine." I said a little bit scared.

We were still in the forest after walking for half an hour.

"When are we gonna arrive. I am tired." I said but noone respond. I looked behind but Amelia and Jason weren't there.

"Guys its not funny. You can come out now. I wasn't hearing anything. It was dark and cold. I could smell the rain. " Ok Amber it's like the training you don't have to be scared for anything." I wanted to cry but i had to be strong.

I started walking but i felt my body vey heavy. I wanted to sleep but i couldn't.
I closed my eyes for a moment but i opened quickly as i heard something coming from the tree.

It was an animal, i couldn't what animal it was because it was dark. I started walking backwards. It came out of the bush. It was a black panther with blue eyes. I had never seen anything like this in my life.

"Its okay kitty. I am going to leave you alone. Don't be mad. I am just passing."

I looked behind me and then i started running as fast as I could but i t wasn't enough. I was prepared for something like that but i didn't think it would happen. It was impossible to get away from the panther.

It reached me. The black panther grabbed my neck and threw me to the ground with power.

"Leave her alone." Jason said coming from behind a tree.

"You always ruin all the fun". The panther said. The voice was very familiar but i couldn't remember whose voice is.

"You will never win. It is just the fate. You will always be the loser and the bad guy in this story."

"You are gonna pay for what you said right now."

"Please go on. I wanna see what are you going to do". Jason said

Both of them looked very angry. I didn't want anyone to die. So i runned as fast as i could to go between them, to stop the fight.

"Amber come back" Amelia shouted

"We don't know what will happen next but we can prevent what is happening right know".

I went between them. I was out of breath.

"Move now, unless you want to die."

"Noone will die today." I said running towards the panther. I took my arrow and i shoot it to the foot.

"You little bitch." he said and he immediately turned into a human.

"Omg. You are naked." Isaid turning around.

"Is it the first seeing a naked guy?". He said

"N- no". I said

"Now let's introduce you properly. Amber this is Kasier. Kasier this is Amber. I think you remember eachother from school.

"Omg. Yes, i remember you. You have changed a lot."

"Hmm"

"Okay.... Sorry for shooting you in the foot." I said

"You owe ne a favour cause you shot me"

"Okay. I will do anything you ask me to do". I said but he turned his back around. I didn't knew why he was angry. We didn't see eachother for year. I am not angry with him for what he did. I guess it was the right thing. I was the freak of school and he was the boy who everyone wanted to call him friend.

"Why is she here?" Kaiser said turning around to see Jason waiting for answers.

"We only have to find some books from the library and then we will leave."

"About what?" Kaiser asked

"How to change someone's fate" i said smiling

"Hmm"

"Are you going to help us or not?''

"Of course not, why would I ?"

"Because you have to. You attacked Amber. You need to apologize to her by helping us"

"It's okay." I say looking at him. I have never imagined that i would see him again. I felt strange but i think that is okay.

"Come on you will help us"

"Fine" he said angrily. His eyes were like the were on fire. 

We found the library.

"Omg its so big. We will definitely find what we want." I was optimistic.

"Okay let's begin searching."

We read almost but we didn't find anything.

"It is impossible" Kaiser said

"What time is it ?" Amelia said. She was looking tired.

"Guys you can go to sleep. I will search a little bit more and then i will go to sleep too"

"Are you sure ?" Jason asked

"Yeah i insist"

"Okay. Goodnight then." Jason said and kissed on my forehead.

"Goodnight"

I was alone in the room. Kaiser has gone somewhere but i don't know where. He wasn't helping a lot. I couldn't reach the highest shelf.

"Come on." I said and i jumped. But before i could jump again a hand grabbed it for me.

"Here" It was Kaiser. I was staring at his eyes for a long time

"Do i have something strange? " He said . I immediately took my eyes away from him.

"No. Thank you" I said with a big smile on my face.

"Why are happy all the time. From the moment i met you when we were kids you would be friendly with everyone"

"I really don't know." I said and i suddenly felt dizzy.

"When was the last time you slept." he asked worried.

"I don't remember two , three days ago. I don't need sleep, i need answers."

"Why don't you sleep on the couch here and i will try to find something about fate and if i find anything i will wake you up." He said.

"Why are you so kind to me. I thought you hated me" but before i hear what he said i fell asleep.
