Hi guys,
As excited as I was about this book, I just did not feel comfortable writing it right now. The Biafra war is something dear to me, probably because I learnt of something that affected my people so late in life. I wanted to do jt justice with this book but I just did not feel genuine creating Nigerian characters in Nigeria during a time that I am still learning about. I moved from Nigeria to London when I was five and although I was raised heavily under Nigerian culture, I am very aware that the experience of a Nigerian in the diaspora and a Nigerian back home is not the same. It did not feel right at this moment to create a world I don't think I know enough about so I decided to discontinue this book.
But I have started a new one! Pillars & Centrepieces (title still pending), I am excited for this book so let me know how you like it please!! :)
