The power to destroy an entire army in the blink of an eye, to command the dead, to survive explosions so powerful they could obliterate an entire city...but what is the cost of having such power? Every time i use my teigus i can feel a part of my humanity being taken away...maybe that's why Akalian stopped at three teigus...but there's no time for doubt, i need all my teigus if i ever hope to fight toe to toe with Akalian and emperor Hirce.
After the death of General Haise and his army, the emperor put a ridiculously high bounty on our heads which basically turned everyone in the capital into our enemies. For the last month we've been hiding from the capital guards and the many bounty hunters who were now hunting for us.
We even had a run in with the order of the blood wolves, a legendary group of elite assassins who have loyally served the empire basically since it's foundation more than eight hundred years ago. They were a challenging bunch but we eventually took them down.
Unfortunately Leon was now in a comatose state, Haise tortured him and did horrible things to him which ultimately broke his spirit. Asuka was now leading night raid and Kai was now second in command and as for me, i've been trying to improve my skills beyond their current limits.
I now know the full extent of my abilities, multiple teigu use, regeneration on the same level of a biological teigu, the ability to use multiple teigu thrump cards at once, the ability to combine trump cards, the ability to absorb teigus and thanks to the incursio i now have increased strengh, speed and a sixth sense which allows me to sense nearby presences more effectively and detect even the smallest amounts of murderous intent.
However even though my skills have reached an extremely powerful level that rivals both Esdeath and Akame...I'm still not a good leader at all so that's basically i'm not leading Night Raid.
That and because i'm not sure i'm even human anymore...I need to talk with someone who can understand me and there's only person alive who can do so.
I sneak my way out of the headquarters without waking up anyone, i make my way through the industrial district streets and then into the rich district where the emperor's elite guards sleep and that includes my older brother Akalian.
As soon as i arrive in the rich district, i see Akalian on top of a building looking down at me, he teleports to street level then stares at me with his one red eye, the right arm he had lost in our battle was now replaced by a mechanical arm similar to the one used by the leader of the original night raid Najenda only difference being that Akalian's mechanical arm was far more advanced.
"So your here for round two little brother?" Akalian asks with an enraged tone, guess he was still mad for losing his arm
"I'm not here for you Akalian, i'm here for your Teigu" i say to him with a cold tone.
"What do you mean?" He asks confused.
"Your Biological teigu...Susanoo, he used to be part of the old night raid and i need to talk to it" i say
"Why? What's the point? The susanoo who fought alongside the old Night Raid was destroyed by General Esdeath herself eight hundred years ago and his core had to be recreated in other words there's no point to this he's just not the same" Akalian says with his typical arrogant tone.
"Your wrong Akalian...Susanoo was more then a biological teigu, he became a person just like you, me or anyone else...now let me talk to him" i say with a confident tone in my voice which makes Akalian's face change to an extremely mad expression.
He looks at me and says "Little brother...you take my right arm from me and now you want to order me around? Fuck you Akaro, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't even exist, the only reason your here today is because of me...I'm the older brother but my destiny is to always be the weaker one" Akalian's voice echoes with madness, his words absolutely made no sense.
