After making my way downstairs and out into the training field i find myself being surrounded by a squad of capital guards and their leader, "Night Raid member you are under arres-before he can finish a powerful blast of energy turns his head into a pile a smoke and seconds after a barrage of feather-like projectiles cuts down the remaining guards.
"Yo Akaro long time no see" Asuka says as she lands beside me and Kai shows up as well.
"So what's going on?" i ask with a calm emotionless tone which was mostly a side effect of sharing my body with Esdeath herself.
"Your battle with Akalian caught the emperor's attention and we're now being invaded by an armada of capital guards" Asuka says as she looks around searching for any traces of murderous intent.
"And worst of all Leon was captured and taken prisoner by General Haise" Kai says with a voice full of fear, it was clear this Haise was one of the emperor's best soldiers. I take a look at Asuka and Kai, they're bodies were full of cuts and Asuka's chest armor was full of bullet wounds in other words they were in no shape to fight.
"I'll take care of this, you two get out here and hide in the old night raid headquarters inside the capital" i say with a confident tone and a blank expression, my brave attitude surprises Asuka.
"Are you insane? there's thousands upon thousands of elite capital soldiers coming here, there's no you can take them on by yourself" Kai says with her usual annoying voice but now i could see that behind the tough girl attitude she actually cared a lot about me.
"Kai don't worry about me okay? I'll come back for you i promise" I say while putting on a confident smile which to my surprise causes Kai's face to turn all red, was she sick or something?
"Alright Akaro take out Haise and save Leon just be careful" Asuka says as she wraps her arms around Kai.
"Akaro...please don't die" Kai says as Asuka takes flight using her angel-like wings.
I head to the nearst road, where i find an army of soldiers towards night raid's headquarters, a smile crosses my face as i shout the name "Incursio!".
My body transforms, my flesh becomes steel and my blood ignites and as the power of the incursio flows through my body, my eyes start to glow with energy...the sensation of power this armor gives me is amazing. I take a look at my body, i have become one with the incursio, my body is the armor.
I unsheath both the murasame and the Yatsufusa and in the blink of an eye i cut down a thousand soldiers, limbs fly everywhere and rivers of blood cover the ground bellow me. The incursio was now covered by blood and guts giving it a ridiculously menacing look.
"ATTACK!" The commanding officer orders his troops to attack but his men just stand there, "ATTACK YOU COWARDS!" he yells out, his troopers finally grow a pair and charge at me.
A firing squad takes aim and then unleash a barrage of bullets but the incursio remains without a scratch. In a split second i charge and cut down the men standing before me, others try to attack me with their swords but despite their efforts these men were flys compared to the power of the incursio.
"Play time is over" I say with a cold emotionless tone as i snap my fingers summoning a rain of ice meteors that end up falling on top of the remaing soldiers. The battlefield were once stood ten thousand soldiers was now a graveyard full of corpses damaged beyond any recognition.
The power of my arsenal is now far beyond what i expected but i can sense that every time i use my powers part of my humanity is taken away.
"But enough wasting time" I say as i make my way through the thousands of dead bodies and into the camp where i find General Haise waiting for me with a gun pointed at Leon.
He lets out a soulless smile then says "Put all your teigus on the ground and surrender or else your friend here gets a bullet in the head".
I ignore his request and in the blink of an eye i take the gun from his hand and punch him straight through the chest and then i crush his heart or at least that was the plan. The image of Haise vanishes before my eyes and i left confused.
"A teigu with the ability to create ilusions huh this will be fun" I say as another image of Haise appears behind me, his image changes into that of the legendary Akame.
"Eliminate" she says as she charges at me and tries to slash me with her teigu the murasame.
I quickly back away unsure if her blade could actually kill me in one cut like the real murasame, i use the yatsufusa and i use it's ability to summon a squad of undead puppets but as expected of Akame she makes short work of them in just a few seconds. Our blades clash once again, her skill with the blade was far beyond mine but thanks to the incursio my speed and strength were drastically increased which allowed me to keep up with this false Akame.
"Akaro versus Akame the battle of red-eyed killers" Haise's voice echoes on the background as me and the false Akame continue our battle.
I purposefully let my guard down, the false Akame takes the bait and charges in for a attack, something the real Akame would never do, i drive the real murasame through the image of Akame which causes her to vanish.
"The real Akame would've easily taken me out...your images are nothing but fakes with no heart" i say with a powerful tone. Haise steps out of the shadows revealing himself before me.
He was tall, muscular and he had long white hair, his arms were easily three times the size of mine and as for his teigu he had the Spectator, a teigu that gives him 5 abilities, mind reading the name is self explanatory, Farsight which allows the user to see things clearly no matter the conditions, Clearsight which allows the user to see through solid objects, Prediction which allows the user to see the smallest muscle movements and ilusion sight which allows the user to cast ilusions and plus his an General which means he's one of the strongest soldiers in the capital.
In other words a normal teigu user would have a extremely hard time beating this guy.
Our blades clash his ability to read my movements and mind proves itself to be incredibly effective against me, so with not much choice i decide to test my new trump card...
Combination trump card..."Village rain of the dead souls" an dark aura surrounds me as i dual wield both swords, my speed increases ten times as i slash away at Haise cutting his limbs of one by one. I end it by driving both the Murasame and Yatsufusa through Haise's heart.
The Yatsufusa absorbs Haises soul and transforms him into one an undead puppets, i put both blades back on their respective sheathes and i deactivate the incursio causing my body to return to it's normal form.
I free Leon from his cage and then i carry his unconscious body into the capital while looking for the others.
