Dying Positivity

Chapter 1 - Long day...

As a child, people had set high expectations for me and if i were to not meet these expectations.... I would be punished. I thought it was normal to have these punishments if expectations werent met, so I never bothered to tell my brother, Nightmare.
Thinking back, I regret not telling him, because he would never beleive me if I told him now.

I wish I played more attention to him instead of the villagers, I wish I noticed how cruel they were to him, I wish I had been a better brother... Because now it's too late to fix it.

You see, me and my brother Nightmare were created to protect the Tree of Feelings. We were both given seperate jobs, I am the Guardian of Positivity and Nightmare is the Guarian of Negativity. The Tree of Feelings was filled with apples but unlike your usual apple tree, The Tree of Feelings apples were separated into positive and negative apples. The positive apples were golden and glowed with positivity whereas the negative apples were a deep dark purple and radiated with negativity, both were stunning and absolutely amazing to look at.

At first it was just me and Nightmare in our AU, and we were so happy just to be with each others presence. But then the villagers appeared, and I was too blind to notice that they were destroying the bond me and Nightmare had created.... They ruined everything, I ruined everything....

"Hey Dream?" Ink asked with concern, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Is everything alright? You kind of zoned out."

"I'm fine, just got lost in my thoughts is all." I replied smiling at him, trying to use my positive aura to an advantage.

"If you say so, Nightmares and his gang are attacking an AU. Care to help me?"

"Really? Alright let's go." I accepted.

Ink gave me a quick smile before opening a portal for us to go fight Nightmare and his gang.

When we got there we were met with a lot of destruction and dust, I heard Ink sigh in exhaustion. I too felt very drained and tired and definitely not in the mood to fight my brother and his gang, but it's not like we had much of a choice. Ink and I exchange looks before heading into battle

This is going to be a long day...

•Time Skip [after the battle]•

Me and Ink were exhausted after the battle we just had against the gang, per usual none of us won since both teams retreated. I felt bad for Ink since he's going to have to fix this AU later.

We both teleported to the Star Sans base to be met with Blue running up to us pulling us into a tight hug. I flinched slightly at the sudden hug attack but hugged back almost immediately, as did Ink.

"WELCOME BACK! I made you tacos! After eating you should heal up and head to bed." Blue said breaking the tight group hug.

"Thanks Blue, we really appreciate it!" Ink chirped grinning as wide as he could fighting back his exhaustion.

"No problem! It's the least The Magnificent Sans can do for you two!" Blue said walking to the kitchen to grab the tacos. I smile lightly at Blues words before heading to the dining room Ink following close behind.

We take our seats and wait for Blue to arrive with his delicious tacos. After a couple minutes, Blue walls in with six tacos on a tray. He sets the tray down on the table and proceeds to sit down next to Ink.

"So... Ink, hows everything going with the Creators?" I ask before taking a bite of my taco full of curiosity.

"They've been fine, just a bit judgmental here and there. How's it going with Shattered?" Ink awnsered followed with a question.

"Its been going alright, he hasnt spoken to me since yesterday thought which is a bit concerning."

"That's weird, I'm sure everything's fine, its Shattered were talking about after all." Ink reassured, though I was still worried I smiled at Ink and finished both my tacos. I glance over at Blue who hasnt seemed to be paying attention to mine and Inks conversation to see him devouring his tacos, I giggle a little and get up to put my plate away.

After washing my plate and put it away I head back to the dining room so I can start healing Ink and mines injuries.

•Time Skip [After Dream healed their injuries]•

"Thanks Dreamy, I'm gonna head to bed now. You should head to bed soon aswell." Ink said  thankful for the healing of his bestfriend.

"No problem Ink! And I'll go to bed soon, so no need to worry. Goodnight though!" I said smiling reassuringly. Ink gives me a quick hug before heading upstairs to his room.

I sigh and begin to teleport to AUS to give monsters positivity and good dreams, once I finish I teleport to my room to get ready for bed. I get changed into some comfortable purple pyjamas, before I get into bed I remember to give Ink and Blue some positivity and dreams. I turn off my bedroom light and climb into my golden queen sized bed. I silently whisper goodnight to Shattered hoping for a response, after waiting for this hopeful response I hear nothing. I sigh worryingly and close my eyes to go to sleep. Right as I'm slipping into a deep sleep I hear someone mutter the words 'Goodnight Dreamy', I smile happily knowing it was Shattered and drift into a peaceful sleep.
