Chapter 2 - A visit with Sci.

I woke up to Blue shaking me violently telling me to wake up

"Agh... What is it Blue.?" I ask yawning shortly after sitting up.

"I made breakfast! Now hurry up and get ready before it gets cold!" Blue responded smiling brightly while bouncing slightly from excitement.

"Okay, I'll be down in no time, Blue." I told him. He nodded and left my room closing the door behind him.

I got up and started to change into my usual outfit before grabbing my golden crown that I had left on my nightstand last night. I look in the mirror and cant help but point out all my imperfections in my head.

'You look fine, stop moping and go eat your breakfast.' Shattered told me, I smile brightly quickly thanking him while walking out of my bedroom.

Once I got to the dining room I noticed that nobody was there to accompany me but a note next to the still warm pancakes Blue made me. I walk over yo my seat sitting down grabbing the note. The note read :

'Heya Dreamy,

I'm off to fix the AU Nightmare and his gang destroyed yesterday and checking on some other AU's. If you need anything dont hesitate to call me.

Dont forget to take your medication, Also Sci told me he needed to talk to you.

I couldnt help but smile at the note. I look down at my plate of pancakes and begin digging in.

The pancakes were so good, I felt completely full. I remember what Ink told me in the note about taking my medication, I stand up and walk over to the medication cabinet and take out the anxiety and depression pills before grabbing a glass from another cabinet and fill it with water to swallow both pills.

I go back to the dining room to grab my plate to go wash and put it away. After doing so I teleport to Sciencetale, since Ink told me that Sci wanted to talk to me in the note he and Blue left.

I walk up to Sci's office door and knock lightly, I hear a bit of shuffling before hearing someone say 'Come in'. I open the door to be met with Sci sitting on his dark oak desk with stacks papers neatly placed beside him.

"Ah, Dream! I'm glad to see you here, I'm guessing Ink told you I wanted to speak with you?" Sci asks politely. I nod smiling  slightly, a little curious as to why he wanted to talk with me.

"Perfect, I wanted to talk to you about your medication. Are they working well? Do you need me to up the dosage?" He asked reassuringly with a soft smile caressing his features.

"I would assume so, I able to do my job easier and the flashbacks arent as constant" I respond, awnsering his question.

"Great! That means it's working well, thank you for wandering, Dream. I also wanted to ask you about Shattered, it's a tad confusing and I want to learn how it works, if that isn't too much trouble!"

"Sure, I dont mind explaining." I start.

" So basically Shattered is another sans kept in my mind, he's been with me since I ate the apple of negativity. To describe what he looks like, he looks like a dark yellow version of Nightmare with my clothing covered in goop and my crown atop his head. He can speak to me through my thought, and we can switch who is in possession of our body when needed but usually I'm in control." I finish taking a breath from how much I spoke, while I was wandering his question he was writing in one of his notebooks.

Sci has looks for every sans hes spoken to about their interesting information. The one he was writing right now was the one he kept for me, its appearance really resembled my style. The cover and back were a combination of golden and white stripes, the spine was golden and you could see your reflection and in the middle of the cover was my name carved in smallish writing in black.

"Perfect! Thank you so much, Dream. That's all I wanted to talk about if you wanted to leave you can." Sci said with excitement filling his voice smiling widely. I had a feeling he was going to try to talk to Nightmare about his goop form.

"No problem, thanks for having me. Bye Sci!" I said leaving the room giving him a soft smile.

I closed the door to office and teleported back home. I sigh loudly before heading upstairs to the game room. Once I entered the room I walked over to the large green bin filled with video games, grabbing the Valorant one. I insert the disc into the Play-Station we had set up on a white TV stand. After the Play-Station accepted the disc I made my way over to the comfortable couch infront of the TV before sitting down and making myself comfortable and began playing the video game I picked out.

I was finishing up my fourth game of Valorant when I heard the front door open and close before hearing

"DREAM! IM HOME!"

I instantly recognized this as Ink's voice. I exited my game and put away the disc in the green bin once again. I run down the stairs a large smile plastered on my face. I run up and hug Ink who was putting away his Precious Broomie. He giggles lightly before hugging me back. I pull away from the hug a smile still resting on my face.

"How was you day? I missed you." I say waiting for a response

" My day was fine, just a bit busy. How about you Dreamy? Did you talk to Sci?" Ink answers also asking me a question.

"Yeah I did, he just had a few questions revolving around my medication and a few about Shattered." I respond, answering his question. He smiles and asks if I want dinner, I accept knowing it wasnt really a question.
