"Sorry, we're already -" You stopped in the middle of what you are doing, noticing the pink haired man entered the cafe.
"Oh, hey Mr. Sanzu." You greeted him.
"Sir, we're already closed. Please come again tomorrow." Mayu, your colleague, who you considered as your older sister, told him.
"Don't worry Mayu, I know him. He's a regular." You smiled at her.
"If you say so." The latter replied, going back to the kitchen.
"Hi Mr. Sanzu, what brings you here at this hour?" You interrogated him, noticing the smell of alcohol from the man.
"I really liked the drink you made me earlier." Sanzu replied.
"Oh, you want another? But you might have trouble sleeping." You slightly tilted your head, scrunching your eyebrows, asking the man in front of her.
"Do you have any recommendations then?" The man smiled at your actions, he somehow find it cute.
"Hmm. You want to try Vanilla Crème? It is basically warm milk." You suggested.
"Vanilla Crème it is but make it two. Also, two slices of Strawberry Shortcake." Sanzu ordered.
"Ohh, you have someone with you?" You asked, curious whether the man has someone with him, you stretched your neck looking at the door.
"No, I'd like to have a conversation with you."
"Oh, okay then. But the cake's on me." You smiled at him.
As you were preparing the male's order, you just couldn't help but think why on earth does he want to converse with you, who is a plain boring barista.
Sanzu carefully watched your every move. From how you carefully made the drinks to how you delicately sliced the cakes. Something about you intrigued him. As if there is a magnetic force that is pulling his attention.
"Hey Y/N, I'm heading out now. I already locked the back door. Make sure you secure the cafe, alright?" Mayu spoke, heading towards the door.
"Okay! Take care Mayu. See you tomorrow."
"Geez, you still full of energy huh. Be careful on your way home." Mayu said, amazed on how you can keep your energy full the whole day.
With your colleague leaving the cafe, it is just the both of you and the comfortable silence.
"Here is your order Mr. Sanzu. So what do you want to talk about?" You said, obviously curious as to why the man would like to talk to you.
"I just want to know you."
"Oh, okay. First of, my name's Y/N L/N. 24 years old." Answering his question.
"Sanzu. Haruchiyo Sanzu, 27."
"Any questions for me?" You asked. Not really sure if there is something interesting about you that he wanted to know.
Sanzu carefully thought of his question.
"How do you find excitement in your life?" He asked seriously.
You were taken a back by his question then you smiled while saying, "Well, you just gotta love what you do."
And the you took a deep breath and continued, " I always loved the smell of coffee, serving people my freshly brewed coffee and my freshly baked goodies."
"Bake?"
"Yeah! I baked that Strawberry Shortcake!" Smiling proudly at man you are with.
You continued to talk about random things, getting to know each other.
Sanzu could not believe in himself, here he is, in a cafe in wee hours, talking to a girl he just met few days ago.

•"You can go ahead Mr. Sanzu, I still need to close the cafe. I had a wonderful talk with you." sincerely telling him, grinning.
"I'll drop you home. It's already late, it is not safe for you to walk home all alone." Sanzu answered.
"I can handle myself." You reassured him. But the male insisted on dropping you off and you complied, thinking that the male will not drop the subject until you agreed with him.
"And that is my apartment complex." You pointed at the tall building in front.
"Thank you so much Mr. Sanzu." You stated as you unbuckled the seatbelt. "I really had fun."
"I had fun, as well." Sanzu answered. "Also, please call me by my first name." He trailed off.
"Okay. Can I call you Haru?"
"Sure." He smiled.
You gently got out of the shiny black car that the male is driving. Waving good bye at the man whilst entering the building.
"I wonder what Mr. Sanzu's job is." You thought to yourself as you got inside the apartment.

"Have you seen Sanzu?" Mikey asked the Haitani brothers, as they are drinking inside their designated room in Devil Hours Bar.
"He went out after fucking some random girl. Not sure where he went." The older Haitani casually said.
"Tell him I need him to meet me tomorrow, first thing in the morning." Mikey said and took his leave.
"Is there something wrong?" Rindou asked his older brother.
"Not sure. But this will be surely fun." Ran answered him.

As soon as Sanzu plopped down in his bed, he thought about your words.
"You gotta love what you do, huh." He chuckled bitterly.
Thinking that his job is probably the worse, but hey it gives him tons of money and women.
"How I wish it is just that easy." He muttered.
His thoughts wandered about you How your smile could easily brighten up one's day.
The vibrations of his phone snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Mikey said he wanted to see you tomorrow. He sound serious."
"I wonder what you did."
"Did you rampaged and killed people? Not surprised if that's the case."
Sanzu smirked while reading the text messages sent by Rindou.
"I hope it is something that is worth my time." Sanzu said, drifting off to sleep.
