The tense is flooding the room. Kakucho and Sanzu are in each other's throat. Pointing guns with each other.
"You sure with this? Turning your back against us? Are you really that crazy, Sanzu?" Kakucho mocked the rose haired man.
Sanzu scoffed at Kakucho's statement and looked at him dead in the eye.
"You guys are fucking morons. I'm more than willing to sacrifice my own life to save Y/N. In fact, I'd blow your brains right now." As Sanzu was about to pull the trigger, he was tackled down by Mochizuki.
"Sanzu! Calm the fuck down! Get back to your senses. You really have a death wish?" Mochizuki said while pinning Sanzu on the ground.
"Get the fuck off me! They have Y/N! I will fucking save her even if it will cost my life." Sanzu yelled at Mochizuki. "You guys are just useless idiotic morons. You are just being toyed and used by Hanma and you fuckers didn't even noticed?" The pinknette snapped. Scoffing at the two guys who are hindering his rescue to his damsel in distress.
"What?" Kakucho asked, he doesn't want to believe whatever Sanzu is saying but he knows deep down that it might be true. Sanzu is an intelligent and organized criminal. He knows who uses them and who are the ones who are loyal to Bonten.
Koko on the other hand, is enjoying the scene that unfolds right before his eyes.
"What do you expect from Hanma? Did you seriously thought that he will be a loyal dog to Mikey?" Koko asked in mocking tone, smirk plastered in his face.
"I was actually surprised that the druggie knew it. I guess he really lives up to his nickname, loyal mad dog." Koko said, taunting Sanzu who is displeased with what Koko had called him.
"Shut the fuck up Koko." Sanzu said as he struggles to break free from the grip of Mochizuki and Kakucho.
While the three guys are in the middle of their own little fight, the door opened and welcomed the Haitani brothers.
"Oh, you didn't wait for us, Sanzu?" Ran said with his signature cocky smile. On the other hand, Rindou started to crack his knuckles.
"May I join? I badly needed some exercise." Rindou said.
"So the two of you decided to side with this lunatic?" Mochizuki asked looking at the brothers with disbelief in his eyes.
"Actually, this time Sanzu is right." Ran announced, his smirk never leaving his face.
Ran's statement made Kakucho and Mochizuki whip their heads straight to the male.
"The fuck are you saying? Hanma is a rat?" Mochizuki asked.
Sanzu snickered at his statement and cockily replied, "Always have and always will."
"Rindou, grab Sanzu and calm him down. We need to discuss what we have uncovered." Ran said while digging some files in his laptop.
"You always like to boss me around, brother." Rindou's annoyance is etched in his face.
Rindou did what he was told. He approached Sanzu and said to the enraged man, "Calm down a bit, Sanzu. Let's enjoy the show while Ran unfolds the truth. I assume they will not believe how gullible they became."
Sanzu huffed and placed his gun back in his holster, motioning that he will not fight back anymore.
As soon as three men stopped their fight, Ran placed his laptop in the office desk. Koko walked closer to inspect what is in display, Kakucho and Mochizuki did the same thing as well.
There they see a picture of Hanma and Guren talking. That is also the day that Sanzu and the Haitani brothers are tasked to follow Guren.
"What if that's just some random meeting with Guren?" Mochizuki asked, still oblivious with the situation.
"Are you that fucking dumb?" Rindou snorted at the man.
"I came prepared just in case these guys can't process the information with their pea-sized brains." Ran said, taunting the two men.
Ran grabbed something from his coat's pocket, it is a flash drive. He inserts the device to his laptop and proceeded to click the file that he was mentioning about.
"It's a voice recording of Guren's minion who spilled all the information we knew. He is also the man Sanzu and Rindou tortured." Ran smirked at his own words.
"Oh, the man who had a vintage lamp post in his house?" Koko asked.
"Bingo!" Ran winked at him in which Koko scoffed at.
Ran played the recording and increased the volume so that everyone in the room can hear it loud and clear.
The recording started with Sanzu and Rindou threatening the guy. They can hear how the man pleaded with the duo about his wife and daughter's safety.
The man started to tell the plan that Hanma is working with.
"Guren is planning to attack Bonten as he was informed by a certain someone that her daughter will be kidnapped and will be used against him. He had killed the woman whom he left in charge with taking care of Y/N as he found out that she will sell Y/N to the Yakuza's who despised him. He did everything he can to take care of her without her knowledge. He just loves Y/N so much as she is his only daughter and she resembles a lot her late mom. Lately, he noticed that Bonten's number 2 has always been with her. That's why he thought of executing his plan before the Bonten could do something horrendous to her."
Crying sounds can be heard from the recording as the man continued to talk.
"The man also told him that if he will not do anything about Bonten, he will be the one to kill Y/N and send her corpse to Guren."
Mochizuki and Kakucho are listening intently to the recording. Not even paying glances at Sanzu who stares at them with a deadly glare. If only looks could kill, they would probably drop dead.
The recording continued and they heard Sanzu's voice.
"Tell me, who is the man who told him about our plan?" Sanzu asked.
"I don't know his name. I only saw him that day. He's a tall man with tattoos on his hands."
That is the only cue for Kakucho and Mochizuki to have their fists clenched.
"Hanma, that fucking man." Kakucho said gritting his teeth.
"The fuck, so we're just his pawns?" Mochizuki asked.
"Obviously." Koko snarled.
Kakucho and Mochizuki were flabbergasted. They couldn't process the new information they acquired. Moreover, they can't believe that they've been played by Hanma and Sanzu sees right through it. They were ashamed that Sanzu is right and they were too blinded by their loyalty towards Mikey.
"Sanzu-" Kakucho said but he was cut off in an instant by the man.
"If you'll say your sorry, don't. Instead, bring us to where the fucking hell Hanma brought Y/N." Sanzu said, still determined to get to wherever you are.
"Alright, we'll bring you there."
