Chapter 10

"Y/N, be my girl. Yeah?"

You were more than shocked to hear what Sanzu has said. Are you going deaf? Or are you just hearing things? You repeated his question just to be sure what you have heard is right.

"Did you just asked me to be your girl?"

"Yes. Do you not want to?" Sanzu teased you.

"I'm just making sure that I am not hearing things." You pouted.

"No, you're not. So, do you want to be my girl?" Sanzu smiled at you, eyes crinkled.

"Yes!"

To his delight, he suddenly stood up and scooped you from your seat. He hugged you tightly while whispering, "I love you so much, I'll do anything to keep you safe and sound. I'll protect you with my life."

Sanzu could not help but smile at himself everytime he remembers what happened in your apartment.

"Could you stop smiling like an idiot? It's creeping me out." Rindou spat at the love struck boy.

"Let him be, Rindou." Ran reprimanded and faced the blue eyed man, "Sanzu, care to tell what made you smile like an absolute idiot?"

"Isn't it obvious brother? It is Y/N of course, he would not be happy like that unless it is because of her. Or maybe you're just high on drugs?" The younger Haitani spoke, taunting Sanzu.

"Can't I be happy just for fucking once?" Sanzu said.

Sanzu did not felt this kind of happiness before. Sure, he may feel ecstatic whenever he kills the rats in their organization but it could not be compared to whatever he is feeling right now.

"You can be happy whenever you want but why did you call us here in the first place?" Rindou said with annoyance etched in his voice as he sat freely on Sanzu's couch.

Sanzu's aura suddenly became serious. His previous love struck presence is gone within a second.

"What will we do about Hanma?"

Sanzu is beyond pissed when they learned that Hanma has been toying with them, probably because he needs some entertainment because he hates dull and boring things.

"Why don't we just speak with Mikey about this issue?" Ran suggested, he doesn't want to decide on things on a whim.

"Speak with Mikey and he'll probably just kill us." Rindou snickered.

Sanzu is deep in his thoughts. He needs to do something before Hanma could execute his plan.

"Let's just kill Hanma." Sanzu stated.

"Can you disobey your own king?" Rindou smirked.

Sanzu has never been in this kind of conflicting situation before. He can never disobey Mikey but he needs to do something in order to save you. This time, he needs to choose between his king and his love.

"We don't know what will be Hanma's next step, we better watch him carefully, we should not let our guards down." Ran said, calming the two boys that are currently having an intense staring contest.

"Make sure Y/N is safe." Rindou said, "She's the only one capable of taming Bonten's number 2."

While the three of them are having a drink, Sanzu's phone vibrated.

"We'll have a meeting. Gather all of the executives."

The text message is from Mikey, there should be something important that Mikey wants to discuss with all of them.

"Mikey wants us all in a meeting." Sanzu announced, catching the attention of the brothers.

"Maybe he found out about Hanma?" Ran said.

"I do hope so."

The trio went to Mikey's office as they were instructed, dreading to know what is the meeting all about.

All of the Bonten's executives are present just like Mikey ordered.

"What is this meeting all about?" Koko asked.

Mikey is sitting in his swivel chair, staring outside the window.

"I suppose all of you already know that Y/N is the daughter of Guren and you all know who he is."

The executives are just nodding in agreement with their leader. However, Sanzu is sweating bullets in his seat, anxiety slowly starts to build up in his system.

Ran noticed how Sanzu is fidgeting in his seat, he nudged the rose haired man and told him to keep calm.

"Guren and his people will ambush us one of this days, we just need to take one step ahead of him." Mikey continued.

"What do you want us to do, boss?" Kakucho asked.

"We can ambush them right after this meeting. It will take them by surprise for sure." Rindou suggested.

"I want to inflict a much deeper wound to Guren." Mikey stated which made Sanzu hold his breath, he does not like where this conversation is going.

"We'll abduct Y/N and make sure Guren knows about it." Mikey stated, he then looked at Sanzu, "Do you have any objections, Sanzu?"

Sanzu was taken aback by Mikey's question. Hell yes, he objects the idea of abducting you however he cannot object his king's orders.

He does not like the idea of you suffering because of his gang. If he can just protect you from this twisted fate that they will give you, he would gladly do so even if it will cost his life. If he can just lock you away in a secluded house in which he only knows just to keep you safe, he would do so.

With a shaky voice and trembling hands, Sanzu agreed, "I do not have any objections, Mikey."

Rindou is more than shocked, he thought that Sanzu will go berserk on the idea but he values his king the most. He made himself a note mentally to puch some sense into the pink haired man later.

"When are we going to abduct her?" Koko asked, he knows all too well that Sanzu likes the girl, he silently followed the man whenever he visits you in the cafe or at your apartment.

"I already tasked someone to do that." Mikey said.

"Who?" Rindou asked, he already has someone in mind but he needs to hear it to confirm if his hunch is right.

"Hanma Shuji, this meeting is over." Mikey stated, leaving the room.

The rest of the executives left the room only the trio and Koko remained.

"What will you do, Sanzu?" Koko asked, looking at the man who is now thinking deeply, hands on his temple.

"I want to fucking punch you in your face." Rindou said, grabbing Sanzu's collar.

"Calm down, Rindou. It is not easy for him to go against Mikey's orders. After all, he is the loyal mad dog." Ran stated.

"I want to take her far away." Sanzu said, "Do you know when Hanma will abduct her?" Sanzu asked Koko.

"No ideas."

"Fuck, I need to go to her."

As Sanzu was about to stand, his phone vibrated. He received a text messaged from you saying,

"There's this weird guy in the cafe, he's been here for hours. He has tattoos on his hands."

That simple text message was able to paralyze him from where he is sitting. The rest of the guys are weirded out by his sudden action.

"What is it?" Koko asked.

"Hanma, he's with her."
