Hello!!!
Hope you all are well!

===================

Jin stared blankly at the paper infront of him half filled with his shaky handwriting.

His hand hovered over edge, unsure of what to write next.

Jin took a deep breath and proceeded to write his name. Like a sign. He had barely written a line when he heard his door open.

Jin jumped to his feet, pushing the paper into the notebook lying on his table.

It was his mother.

"Jin? What are you doing? It's time for your school dear and you should still eat breakfast"

Jin gulped and lifted the book in his hand. "Homework"

It was not entirely an lie, he was infact doing homework...... and some other work.

His mother sighed "That is why you should finish the day before honey. Alright now come for breakfast"

Jin nodded and took his bag, pushing the book inside.

He went out and grabbed a slice of bread after stuffing his lunch box into his bag.

"Jin that's not toasted...."

"Bye" Jin said and hurried out of the house.

Because Jin had escaped going to school the previous day, he couldn't come up with an excuse for that day too.

The last place he wanted to be right now was school. He did not want to face Dae Hee or that guy again.

He did not want to go anywhere near that locker room or the basketball ground again.

He also did not want to see Taehyung.

It was embarrassing. Taehyung saw him at his weakest and the most depressing moment of his life and he did not want to do anything with him.

At the same time he wanted to thank Taehyung. Because he came at the right moment. Jin did not even want to think what would have happened if Taehyung had not come.

He shook himself out of his thoughts when he came infront of the flower shop he passed everyday on his way to school. And as usual the dog was still there. Tied up infront of the shop.

It wagged his tail recognising Jin.

Jin crouched down and fed the dog his slice of bread.

Funny how he had lost his appetite.

After petting the dog a few times, he went towards school again.

He reached school faster than he usually did. Or maybe it was just him who was too lost in his thoughts to notice time passing.

He was just glad he had not taken a hit from some vehicle.

But was Jin glad? He could not tell. Jin was afraid that his answer would be no and that he would gladly welcome any hit. It would save him a lot of headache.

His legs became heavy as he neared the main gates. If anybody looked closely they could see the slight shiver of his fingers or his tight grip on his bag strips. Or how he was practically dragging his legs along.

He felt like throwing up and fainting when he entered the school. He kept blinking his eyes and moving forward, his legs feeling like lead.

He felt like he was being watched. That any moment someone might jump out from behind the bushes and pin him down. Overpower him and render him useless and weak.
