"Hello- oh Jin. It's you. Come in"

Jin had once again come in to visit Taehyung's dad in his clinic. It had become his comfort zone after Taehyung.

Jin bowed at Taehyung's dad and sat down on the couch infront of him.

Taehyung's dad was never a professional therapist infront of Jin. Which he appreciated. He listened like a close family member which greatly made him feel at home.

So when Jin sat down, Taehyung's dad got up and walked to his table, picking up his water bottle.

"Did something happen? You look troubled"

Jin sighed and covered his face rubbing it "I don't know. But I am sorry for troubling you always-"

"Jin honey" Taehyung's dad said "We have gone over this. You coming to speak to me is not a trouble. I am more than ready to help you. Also- aren't youe schoolmates meeting at McDonald's in like half an hour?"

Jin nodded.

"Still you have come here. It must be important. Tell me. Also make sure to leave early from there. It looks like it might rain today"

Jin bit the insides of his cheek as he nodded "Do you... uhh.. have the answer to my question?"

Taehyung's father lifted the water bottle to his lips and took a gulp, thinking of a response.

That's what he has been doing all the time Jin has asked him the same question.

Think of a response.

But not an answer.

"I told you Jin" Taehyung's father said "We can think it over when your letter arrives- which should have arrived by now-"

"It arrived" Jin cut him mid speech "They called me. I am selected"

Taehyung's father hoped he did not show any kind of expression as his heart fell. Instead he gave a big smile to Jin.

"Congratulations Jin! I am sure you are ecstatic"

"I-i am?"

Taehyung's dad sighed "You sound unsure dear"

Jin wetted his lips "You know it Uncle"

Taehyung's father took another gulp of water from the bottle "So- uhh when are you leaving?"

"In a week" Jin answered.

"What!?"

"My letter never came." Jin explained "They called in to confirm my rejection when they learnt that I never recieved the letter. So everything is in a hurry. I have to leave in a week if I don't want to miss out on classes"
