"It is snowing!"

Jin smiled at the excited voice that came from the other side.

For him Taehyung had always been this, cool, collected guy.

But the more he started knowing him, the more Jin had seen his happy, joyful side.

Like getting excited for snow.

When was the last time Jin was excited for something?

He did not remember.

"We can build a snow man!" Taehyung said, his breath heavy making it obvious that he was out in the cold.

"Or we can ride bikes around in the snow" Jin said remembering the song.

Taehyung laughed "What was the next line? Isn't it "I never see you anymore"? That's true isn't it? I never see you anymore"

"It's been three days Taehyung" Jin said.

"Come out the door" Taehyung continued

Jin widened his eyes "What?"

Taehyung laughed "Man it would have been nice if I was actually outside the door. Too bad."

It was Christmas vacation and the duo had lost the chance of meeting each other at school.

But phones had been a savior.

Jin was glad for the holidays. Being away from school definitely had its props.

No snarky comments from Dae Hee when Taehyung was not around. No need to look over his shoulder constantly.

In a way, it made him think about how Dae Hee only stopped bothering him because Taehyung threatened him.

Was him saying no not enough? Did he really look that weak?

Jin sighed as more thoughts clouded his mind.

"Are you alright?" Taehyung's voice came through "This is the fourth time you sighed"

"Nothing like that. Don't stay put too long. You will get sick"

Taehyung snickered from the other side "Ok. I'll go in. We can play snowball fight. That would be fun"

"I would rather throw a huge sized snowball right into Dae Hee's face" Jin said.

Taehyung laughed "I fully approve of your plan. Except for one pivotal point"

"What is it?" Jin asked curiously

"Replace the snowball with a rock. We gotta leave a permanent impression"

Jin laughed his eyes crinkling "You make a valid point Mr Kim"

"Ooh can I get a promotion now Mr Kim?"

Jin hummed "Best friend?"

"Aren't I already?"

"Then?" Jin asked.

Taehyung muttered something from the other side.

"What?"

"What?"

"You mumbled something. I couldn't hear you" Jin asked frowning.

"Nothing Jinnie. Now go on. Didn't you say your brother is coming?"
