Alexis, who left the political office, immediately visited Karloi. There was no time to talk to Karloi before that, as she arrived in the capital in a tight manner in time for the nobility house to open.

Karloi was still lost in thought until Alexis came in. She almost knew what was on his mind. She bet it's that child.

"Your Majesty."

Karloi raised his eyes, looked at Alexis, and nodded roughly.

Well, no matter what Karloi thinks, it's none of her business. He often seems lost, but he is more like an emperor now. His deep, dry resignation seemed to have quelled his unusual feelings.

And the child was already dead and couldn't have screwed up any more. Now there is no problem at all.

"Why are you here?"

"I have come to tell you about the message you sent. It means that Delua and Bernie's internal communication is suspected."

"Well... Broadly speaking, yes."

"Delua is a human being anxious to have a full Croysen. That's why he didn't think about founding of a new country."

"So?"

"He's not the kind of man who can communicate with Bernie himself. He didn't do as much as he did when he was inciting a war with Bernie."

Karloi, who seemed unwilling to hide his boredom, curled his chin crookedly.

"I know that. I'm not sure, but my guess is Bernie's magic at best."

"Magic?"

"There were reports that it seemed that he was using a magic that was difficult at the level of Croysen. Then the answer is obvious. It also explains where such an extraordinary poison could have been made from that moment."

"It's a felony if you used Bernie's magic for nothing else. If this conjecture is true..."

"In fact, it doesn't really matter whether it is. It could be Mach's magic, not Bernie, but whatever."

The sound of Karloi's finger tapping on the desk interlocked with his bored voice.

"You can't make Delua disappear from history by borrowing magic secretly. It has to be mine. It's only a crime of rebellion that can dry up the seeds. So that there's no trace."

Karloi's tone slowed down.

"Dunya, I'm suggesting a way to get rid of Delua."

"I know. Isn't that what we're talking about accusing us of internal sins that we haven't committed?"

"That's right. Why? Don't you like it? Don't you want to use that kind of method?"

"...No. I would have opposed it before, but not now."

Delua was a descendant of the first ancestors, and a collateral clan of the imperial family. It was calculated that it would be a pain to completely eliminate such a person.

"It's a matter of how."

As she rolled the calculations into her head, Alexis continued.

"A little evidence could inflate it, but we have nothing. No one will bring the little bit, and no one will put the little bit on Delua. The Delua estate is like a small kingdom."

Karloi's expression, which had been numb all along, was disorganized for a moment and returned unnaturally.

"There's no other way."
