"Is Amanda here?" I asked my butler.

"Not yet monseiur. "

"Good. I'll be at our room. Tell me right away if she's here." I said.

I went to the elevator and pressed the third floor button. After a few seconds the door open and I went outside.

I need to dress up really quick. I have a surprise proposal to Amanda. I rented the whole restaurant with the nice garden place where we can see the Eiffel tower. The garden looks beautiful even if it is covered with snow.

I took the ring box out from my coat. I feel so nervous right now. Amanda will love this ring that I got her. But I hope it's enough to make her say yes.

Wait. Where is Amanda? She haven't texted me yet.

I took my phone out and dialed her number. I frowned when I heard her phone ringing inside the room.

I followed the ring tone. I went to her vanity table and saw her phone on top. I ended the call. Why did she left her phone here?

I was about to put down her phone when it started to ring again.

Incoming call from Devon.....

Devon? Who's that?

I answered his call. I was about to tell him that Amanda isn't here when he started to speak.

[Where the hell are you!? I want to see you now Amanda.]

[We need to talk. You can't just hide from me.]

[Please.... don't hide my baby from me. I want to take full responsibility for our baby. Please....take to me.]

My whole body froze after what I heard.

[Amanda? Are you there?]

I ended the call. I opened her phone and went to her messages. I clicked their conversation.

Three days ago

Devon: I missed you already. Do you want to do it again tonight?

Devon: Do you want to go to my place?

Devon: Is everything alright?

Two days ago

Devon: Are you ignoring me?

Devon: Don't do this Amanda. I can't loose you too.

1 hour ago.

Devon: We need to talk.

I threw her phone on the floor. I don't care if it broke.

Amanda is cheating on me?

I thought we talked about this?

Why would she do this to me?

"Hey lover."

I heard Amanda's voice. She's here already. Amanda hugged me from behind. She laid her head on my back.

"I missed you a lot today, lover. Are you hungry? Do you want me to cook your favorite pasta? "

"Get your hands off me." I said.

"What did you said?"

I took her hands off me. I took a step forward to grab the lampshade and immediately throw it on the floor.
