Light waves are important,
Since the dawn of creation.
They travel in a single path,
Four properties are known.
Reflection, refraction,
Some properties of light,
With transmission, absorption,
Helps us with our sight.
Reflection is when light
Bounces off a surface.
It doesn't affect light's wavelength
Or distance between two identical points.
The moon doesn't shine!
It just reflects light.
Getting it from the sun
Making a wonderful night!
Somewhere over the rainbow,
There's a refraction of light.
Greeting you at the meadow,
With an astonishing sight.
Red, orange, yellow,
Green, blue, indigo, violet.
The colors of a rainbow
Formed by tiny droplet.
With light we can see,
All of the world's wonders.
With it we see its beauty,
One of the wonders of the universe.
