Vidhyadhar was dropped off at his respective address by Sidharth before he proceeded towards his Sasural {In-laws' house}. He was happy and blushing all alone sitting in the cart. His excitement level was increasing with every inch they progressed towards her house. He was for the first time going to see his wife's face after a long long wait of 6 months of his marriage. He couldn't even ask his mother her description as he was too shy to enquire about her features. Only thing he knew was her name, Sunaina

Eversince he had left her at her parent's house post marriage and went to his home, every single day, he wondered how she looked, how she might sound like, how delicate her skin would be to touch, how aromatic her body might be. How long her hair might be and how it might feel to touch those hair. How sweet her smile would be, how soft her lips might be, and how deep her eyes could be.

There was no medium of knowing anything about romance or intimacy as such but his friend, Jagesh told him everything about it in these past 6 months and since then he dreamt to spend lovely moments with his wife.

The horse cart came to halt and his heart skipped a beat. His eyes had already started searching for her. His mother in law, SD comes out and welcomes him inside. He passes some the basket of fruits and flowers to her which was sent by Sulochna. She gives him hot water to take bath, serves him food and allows him to rest in a room. But he couldn't for once get a glimpse of his wife yet. The wait seemed to be longer to him compared to the 6 months.

In the evening, Mahinder returns home. He chats with him for a while and then they have early dinner. Mahinder escorts him to his room which was decorated with scented flowers. Sidharth blushes hard looking at the arrangement. Finally, he was getting to see his bride after 6 hours of wait. The room was lit with lamp since there wasn't electricity in the village.

He sits on the edge of the bed waiting for her. His heart was racing and eyes were etched to the door.

SD gives a glass of warm milk in Sana's hand and escorts her.

SD: Sana, you are going to meet your groom. Be in veil until he himself picks it up and just listen to and do what your groom says. Remember, don't tell him your name as Sana if he calls you Sunaina.

Sana nods. She had zero knowledge about anything relating to the marriage or about nuptial night. There were no flutters or any kind of tingling in her stomach as every new bride has on her nuptial night. Her mother had trained her to cook and do chores of house but gave absolutely no knowledge about intimacy or romantic life between husband and wife.

Author's note: Imagine there is no electricity in the village. And in the year 1949 they didn't have phone, internet, TV etc to get any knowledge about romance or married life. People were too shy to give sex education to their children. Since boys were a bit grown up, they discussed it among friends but girls being young had no one to talk about it. So it was natural to have absolutely no knowledge about b it for a girl.

SD stops 2 steps away from the door and turns Sana to face her. She cups her face and kisses her forehead before pulling a long veil over her head. SD was emotional and nervous herself thinking about her daughter.

SD: Go inside. (She whispered)

Sana walked inside the door. Sidharth flinched to stand on his feet as he found his bride walking inside with a glass of milk in her hand and a long veil.

She stopped 2 steps away from him waiting for his instructions. She was perplexed to find him go near the door. The veil was giving her only a blurred view of motions. She heard him latch the door. There was no reaction from her.

He comes back to her and stands infront of her. He had a blush on his face and a slight smile. Although he had been eagerly waiting to see her all this while, his hands shivered a little to take the lead.
