Sunshine and Sweet Harmonies (Teen Beach Movie: A Butchy x reader)

Chapter 1

Y/N's POV

I was caught under the wave and couldn't find my way up for a second. I was running out of air and had to get up soon. I had my eyes closed because I didn't want my eyes to meet with the salty water, which would've caused them to sting and burn. Once I felt the wave pass by over me, I swam my way up to the surface and gasped for breath. I opened my eyes and soon realized that the storm was gone. I looked at the sky in confusion and looked for my board. It wasn't here so I assumed it must've washed up on shore. I started to swim towards shore and noticed that Frally, or the rest of my family was no longer here.
When I got to shore, I looked around in confusion and noticed that the beach looked completely different. There were certain things missing and things that were there that I had never seen before. But, something about this beach was very familiar. And then, that's when I heard it.

I peaked over a pile of surfboards and saw the very familiar beach setting of the opening scene to my most favorite movie and musical of all time: Wet Side Story.

♪Time to play♪

♪Complications♪
♪From now on, just...♪
♪Good vibrations♪

Just then, a car pulls up and I cocked my head in that direction. It parked and the character I recognized as Rascal opened the door to let all the surfers out like clowns in a tiny car. Seeing all of the characters I had recognized in person was...mesmerizing. It felt like a dream come true.

Tanner, being the last character to appear made my heart jump into my throat. 
Not wanting to interrupt anything, I watched the scene from behind the pile of surfboards. 

Tanner:

♪I can see my reflection in my surfboard shine♪
♪I can hardly wait to cause a commotion♪
♪Come on, everyone, jump into the ocean♪

Tanner and Kiki:
