Chapter 5

As soon as I walked in, all eyes were on me. It was like everyone and everything stopped to look at me. But, my eyes could only land on one person in the room. Of course, it was Butchy. He looked so awestruck by my new look, he looked like he forgot how to breathe. I smiled to him and continued to walk. 

I got to the stage and thought of a song. Seacat and Rascal helped me up the stage and I told the band what song I wanted to sing and just like magic, they started to play the song. 

3rd Person POV

When the music started, both groups got on the dance floor to dance, but Butchy stayed aside to watch. 

Y/N:
♪Somewhere, beyond the sea♪
♪Somewhere waiting for me♪
♪My lover stands on golden sands♪
♪And watches the ships that go sailing♪

♪Somewhere, beyond the sea♪
♪He's there watching for me♪
♪If I could fly like birds on high♪
♪Then straight to his arms, I'd go sailing♪

Butchy, who was off to the side started to sing as well, but for some odd reason, nobody except Y/N seemed to notice. 

Butchy:

♪It's near beyond the moon♪
♪I know, beyond a doubt♪
♪My heart will lead me there soon♪

Y/N and Butchy:
♪We'll meet, beyond the shore♪
♪And we'll kiss just as before♪
♪Happy we'll be beyond the sea♪
♪And never again, I'll go sailing♪

As the band played the instrumental, Y/N swayed to the music as she watched everyone dance. The only ones who weren't dancing were Butchy, Lela, and Tanner. All the others were dancing with their own crowd. Butchy walked closer to the stage until he faced Y/N and for that moment, it was only them in Big Mamma's. Nobody else. Just them.

When the instrumental came to and end, Y/N started to sing in french, which she had never done before.
