chapter 5- roommates?

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘃

After diner, the friend group had to make a difficult decision, who gonna be roommates with who, well I guess we will have to find out.

Once we were done with eating I left the table because they were gonna talk about who is gonna be roommates. And since I am a boy, more like a man, I can choose a girl as my roommate although I wish I could and if I could, I would wanna be roommates with Livia, ugh walking up next to her would be lovely (keep dreaming little man), but that's beside the point forget that I even thought about that. I didn't really know what I was gonna do, I haven't made any new friends yet besides Esmé and Livia.

I looked around seeing most people talking to their friends probably talking about how much fun they are gonna have together as roommates. I kept looking around, till my eyes fell on a boy who was sitting alone he had dark brown hair and brown eyes he was looking around rather scared. I thought for a second before saying fuck it and just going up to him. I sat next to him, "Hi, I'm Thomas Weasley". The boy looked surprised that I would talk to him. "Oh hi, you scared me a little there I'm toby, Toby wood," he said while smiling at me, damn he kinda cute I thought. "well it's nice to meet you, Toby, I saw that you were sitting alone and I was also alone so I thought, fuck it why not," I said while chuckling. "Oh yeah it's my first day and I'm not a great talker and not a lot of people outside Slytherin wanna be friends with a Slytherin you know." He said while avoiding eye contact. "Well I don't care that you are a Slytherin, my future girlfriend is one, although she doesn't know that yet. I just met her but I like her a lot. It's like what you read in those stupid love stories, love, at first sight, I didn't think it would happen, I didn't even think that stuff could happen in real life I thought it was a lot of bull, but it did happen to me. But for now, I'm keeping that from her, I wanna get to know her first." I stopped talking for a second, " Sorry for talking so much that was too much information." I laughed, he also laughs. "no no it's fine, I like listing to you talking it very.... nice haha."

There was a small silence, not an awkward one a comfortable one, I then broke the silence. "So the reason I came here is, do you maybe wanna be roommates cause you seem like a cool guy to be around." He thought for a second, " I mean sure I don't have anyone else to be roommates with anyways." " Great! Well, let's go sing ourselves up." We got up and went to where you had to sign up for a room. We stood in one of the three lines, when it was finally our turn I noticed it was my dad who was writing it down. He smiled when he saw me. "Well hello, there Tom and his friend." " Hi dad, this is Toby wood my new friend and roommate isn't he adorable." I laughed, "nice to meet you sir," toby said to Ron. "Nice to meet you to Toby, assuming by your last name you're the son of Oliver Wood and...?" "Pansy Parkinsons." toby says and Ron lools a little surprised "My I was thinking something like that, well boys I would love to talk and hear all about your day and your ride Tom but I am afraid there are more people are inline here's your room number and your keys to gt into your room. Have a goodnight." He gave us a paper and two keys."Thanks, dad, goodnight love you." I took toby's hand and we walked out of the great hall and went to our room no forgetting our suitcase.

MEANWHILE AT THE GIRLS TABLE

After dinner we had a decision to make, whos gonna be roommates. Luckily for us, Thomas was already ruled out so we didn't have to worry about him and now we had an equal number of people. Nobody had said anything about the roommate thing until Esmé spoke up. "Well personally I don't mind being roommates with any of you but I think Livia and Aurora shouldn't go together." "why," I asked confused. "because you will literally rip my fucking head off because you're obsessed with your brother," Livia said calm yet she was very scary. "I am not obsessed with him, I just think he shouldn't hang out with people like you!" I replied. "wtf is that suppose to mean." she then continued, "you don't even know me!" "well anyone knows you no good you're a Malfoy and a Slytherin nothing good about that," I said pissed. "Oi fuck off Weasley!" Livia yelled rather loudly making some people look at us including some of the teachers like Hermione or as I say, my mom. " Ok guys came yall tits, Aurora please get your shit together, I agree with Livia, you don't even know her you are just judging her on the fact that she is a Slytherin and a Malfoy. You haven't even taken the time to get to know her just because you're pissed of that your brother likes her more than he likes you. " Brianna said, making Esmé nod, "yeah I also agree with Livia." Esmé ads. "whatever," I say while rolling my eyes.

"anyways, I think Brianna and I should be roommates and you and Aurora should be roommates Em." Livia says the two other girls hum and agree. "so it is settled, well let's go sign up then." Esmé said we all got up. Brianna and Livia went into a totally different line than us. when it was finally our turn, I finally noticed Draco Malfoy was the one who signed people up in this line. "Hi girls, judging by your hair; I am gonna assume you are a Weasley?" he said to me, he then looked down at his papers and then looked back at me. "Aurora Weasley?" he asked, I nodded, "That's me, Hello." he shifted his gaze to Esmé. "And you are?" "Oh I am Esmé Lovegood" Esmé replied. "ah just as I suspected you look a lot like your mom, you are a very pretty girl like your mom was and still is I assume." Draco said, "Thank you" Esmé replied, "well girls here are your keys and paper with your room number, have fun and goodnight." He finished with a smile(we all loved that), he then gave us our keys and paper. We whispered a small thank you and sat on a bench waiting for the other girls to finish.

Esmé and Aurora went into the line next to us which was way shorter than our line. But that didn't really matter, Brianna and I had more time to talk than. It was finally our turn, we went into the line where Hermione and Potter were the ones handing us everything. Great I am already gonna get a lecture on my first day well I don't care that much tho. "well you already know my name don't you and this is Livia Malfoy my friend" Briana said, "What was that all about with Aurora already causing trouble, Malfoy?" Hermione asked me, I laughed. "Nah I wasn't, in fact, it was your daughter who was being a bitch, I was just putting her in her place because a Mudblood should be talking like that." I replied making Brianna chuckle I continued, "I don't know who you think I am but you shouldn't be worrying about me. If I were you I would keep an eye on that daughter of yours shes got some evil spirits like Voldemort reincarnated into her, She's crazy man at least she's hot when she's mad." It went silent, Mister Potter gave us our keys and room number. "Thanks and don't worry mister Potter I won't be a bad influence on your daughter, you should keep an eye on your James he kinda has a bad influence on my brother." I say before walking off with the stuff Brianna followed me and walked beside me, "What was that about James and Scorpius?" Brianna asked, "You haven't noticed yet? Something is definitely going on with those two, I caught my brother calling with James it was kinda spicy but I mainly just said that to get under Potters skin his face was funny af." I said while we continued to walk towards where I saw Esmé and aurora sit, we sat next to them and talked a little about what number we had and how far we would be from each other after some time talking we decided it was time to go to our rooms.

Harry Potter Pov

"What did she mean with watch out for James he has a bad influence on her brother," I asked Hermione. "How am I suppose to know... I wouldn't think about it too much. She's probably trying to get under your skin." Hermione replied. "She's very feisty but she seems nice to Brianna I saw them holding hands earlier." I said, Hermione nodded. "she is probably a very nice girl, I think you just shouldn't get on a Slytherin bad side especially if that Slytherin is also a Malfoy. I mean you never know.... maybe she is the chosen one" she joked making me chuckle.
