The drive to the Evergreen Manor was long and silent. Willow had begged her parents to tell her what had been discovered about her sister's case, but they wouldn't tell her anything, saying they would explain once they got home.

Once they finally reached the mansion, Willow went inside and threw her bags onto her bed. This place had felt less and less like home ever since a murder had taken place there.

"So, will someone tell me what's going on?" Willow said, exasperated.

"We need to leave. Tomorrow morning, bright and early," Willow's mother said firmly.

"What?" Willow said, completely taken aback.

"Don't ask questions. We need to leave. Pack everything you need, and then go to bed early," Willow's father said, staring her down.

Willow stayed quiet and went upstairs to pack her bags. She was so, so confused. Hundreds of questions floated through her head, none of them with answers. Sorting through the things in her room was like diving into a pensive.

She took down the pictures on her wall one by one, dropping them into her suitcase.

Her and Isabella smiling wide on a paddle board somewhere in Hawaii.

Her and Ron kissing, fireworks set off by Fred and George exploding in the background.  Hermione took that one.

Her and Isabella at the dinner table.  Isabella's face was covered in cake and icing, the aftermath of Willow pushing her head down into the red velvet delight.

   There were so many more.

Willow made her way over to her night stand.

A small gold necklace with a tiny blue flower charm.

"And, voila!" Isabella removed her hands from Willow's eyes.

She looked down to see what Isabella had placed in her hands.  It was a gold necklace, a tiny blue flower charm attached.  Willow cocked an eyebrow as she looked up at her sister.

"What's this all about?" She asked, confusion in her voice.

"Oh, nothing.  Just a kind person getting her younger sister a gift," Isabella said, shrugging.

"I call bullshit," Willow said, dropping the necklace back into Isabella's palm.

"Excuse me?  You just can't accept the fact that I'm an amazing older sister who did something out of the kindness of her own heart!" Isabella said dramatically, forcing the necklace right back into Willow's hand.

"So where did you get this?  Did you find it on the ground?  Oh my god, did someone give this to you?" Willow said with a gasp.

"No..?" Isabella said, cheeks growing red.

"Are you asking me or telling me?" Willow said, mocking what her father would say whenever she was hesitant about something.

"Shut up!" Isabella hit her sister playfully.

"Okay, so who was it?" Willow pressed.

"No one!  I bought it for you!" Isabella was a horrible liar.

"It was a girl, wasn't it!  Oh, I bet it was!"  Willow began racking her brain, searching for any girl that Isabella may have been seeing recently.

   "No, it was not!"

   "Yes, it was!"

   "No."

   "Yes!"

   "No."

   "Yes."

"Fine!  It was Belle!  We kissed, and the next day she brought me this," Isabella confessed.

"You and Belle kissed?" Willow's mouth fell open.

"Yes, but it was a one time thing and she clearly doesn't know that!"

"I am shocked.  You kissed Belle, she gave you this necklace to show you that she clearly likes you, and then you gave it to me?" Willow couldn't help laughing.

"Shut the fuck up.  I'm not ready for a relationship, and plus, the necklace doesn't fit," Isabella said defensively.

"Whatever, I'll keep it, but I need more details later."

An old birthday card.  The colour was fading, and the paper was thinning, but Willow refused to move it.

   To: Willow

   From: Iz

   Dear Willow,

Happy 12th birthday!  I cannot believe that you're already 12 years old.  Time flies.  You're getting so old.  I remember seeing you for the first time on this day 12 years ago.  You were a tiny, disgusting thing.  Sorry, but newborns are ugly.  I thought you were an alien.  I asked mum if we could leave you at the hospital.  Honestly, I still think you're an alien.  But I couldn't be happier that we didn't leave you at the hospital that day.  While you're an annoying little pest, I'm so glad to have you as my little pest for life.

Love you always,
Isabella

   A Slytherin tie.

Willow woke up to the sound of Draco snoring.  She felt his bare arms loose around her waist, and his head on her shoulder.  She smiled at the memories of the night before.  Draco on top of her.  Her first time.

Everything was great until Willow remembered that she had a class in exactly five minutes.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Willow said, waking Draco.

"What is it?" Draco asked groggily.

"I have a class in five minutes, and I can't find my tie!"

"Relax, just take one of mine," Draco said, rolling his eyes.  He got up and threw her a clean tie from his dresser.

   "Thank you," Willow said, smiling.

"Hey, I've got your back," Draco leaned in and kissed her.  Willow saw sparks.

Willow threw the tie in the garbage.  Her heart hurt for a second, remembering that time when everything with Draco was perfect, when she was unconditionally in love with him, but then she saw it.

A chocolate frog container.  She opened the box.  Inside was a card like you would find in all chocolate frog boxes, but instead of one of the normal witches and wizards, it had the name Willow Evergreen on it.

  Willow Evergreen.

A 17 year old witch that I am head over heels in love with.  Her talents are failing miserably in potions class and pissing off all substitutes.  Her flaws are being way too gorgeous and funny and kind and let me tell you, she's a horrible kisser.  Fun fact, she's in love with Ron Weasley.  They're soulmates.  This card is all over the place, but I think you get the message.

Willow rolled her eyes, but she felt her heart glowing.  She loved that boy so much.  She would do absolutely anything for him.  That was what made it hit her.  She couldn't just run away.  Especially when she didn't even know the reason for it.  She put the card back down and rushed out of her room.  She was going to find out what the hell was going on.
