It was 9:54pm when Willow heard the scream.

Cold rushed through her veins, sending a shiver down her spine.  She looked up, the other girls in the dorm looking around anxiously.

"What the fuck was that?" Pansy asked, looking more annoyed than concerned.

"No idea, do you think we should go look or something?" Daphne pitched in.

"It's probably nothing, the teachers can take care of it if it's serious," Millicent shrugged and lay back down.

The other girls shrugged it off as well and went back to what they were doing. Willow didn't. She could swear she recognized that scream.

She got out of bed and wandered out of the room, tiptoeing across the halls. She wasn't stupid enough to follow a scream alone, so she made her way up to the Gryffindor dormitories.

After finding Hermione and getting her up, they went to find the boys, needing Harry's invisibility cloak.

Once everyone was ready and under the cloak, the four left, following Willow. She felt her body guiding her, as if it knew exactly where the scream had come from.

They walked and walked, trusting Willow's sense of direction, and eventually found themselves right outside the forbidden forest.

"We shouldn't go in there, it's not safe," Hermione said.

"I know the person who screamed, I swear it. I just can't put my finger on it," Willow said, determined to find the source of that ear piercing scream.

"There are people in the castle who can take much better care of this than we can, let's just go b-"

Willow looked at Hermione in confusion, wondering why she stopped talking.  Hermione said nothing, just nudged her lightly.  Willow looked down to where Hermione was pointing, and her breath caught in her throat.

Luna was on the ground in front of her, covered in blood.

Willow threw the cloak off of herself, sending the other three toppling out of it.  She dropped down to the ground in front of her, tears threatening to fall.

"Luna?  Can you hear me?" Willow said, voice tight.  There was no response.

"Someone get help," Hermione said from next to her, looking back at the boys.  Ron nodded, already running back to the castle.

Luna was laying motionless.  Her blonde hair was tangled and muddy, and her clothes were ripped up, blood seeping through them.

Hermione checked her pulse, it was still there, but very, very faint.  It wasn't looking good.  Willow stayed by her side, shaking her, trying everything to wake her up.  It was just like it had been with Isabella.

"It's going to be okay, darling.  We'll find who did this to her.  They'll pay," Willow's mother said, hugging her tight, wetting her shirt with tears.

Willow didn't reply, she showed no sign of response.  Isabella was dead.  She hadn't moved from her spot on the floor.  When the people came to take Isabella's body, she'd clung to it, shrieking and crying.

"Don't leave me.  Don't take her from me," she'd screamed.  They still took her.

"What happened?  Move, move, let me see her!" Blaise was running toward them, still wearing his dark green pajama pants.

Willow and Hermione moved out of the way quickly, allowing Blaise to kneel in front of his girlfriend.  Willow felt pain for him.  He and Luna had only been dating for over a month, but they'd already fallen deeply in love with each other.  You could see it on their faces.
