Ever since Willow stumbled back into bed the night she lay under the stars with Ron, time had slowed. She woke up to Pansy being pissed that she left, but that fixed quickly when she told her she was just mad at Draco, and wanted to go to bed. Once she got to the common room though, everything went to shit. Draco walked up to her, and kissed her. She immediately pushed him off, "What do you think you're doing?", and he just acted confused.

"What?" He had asked, fake confusion in his eyes.

"You don't get to kiss me. Apologize, and learn to treat a girl right first," Willow walked out of the room.

Draco and her hadn't spoken since then, and it had been three days. Three long, excruciating days. Willow was so used to seeing him in the morning, hanging out with him all day, and saying goodnight a few minutes before she went to sleep. It was definitely weird to actually have time to herself, but strangely relieving. You would think that fighting with your boyfriend of five years would be a very painful time, but Willow felt calm and collected for once, like she had free will.

Willow's friends and boyfriend are a huge part of her life, but at this point, she doesn't know if that's a good thing. She's never ever wanted to think about not having them in her life, but it's not for the reason you might think.

Any time Willow thinks about it, she finds herself wanting it. Every day, she has to make herself into this person that fits her friend group perfectly. She laughs at things she doesn't find funny, she acts like a total bitch to people she actually wants to hug. It's exhausting, but it's the only way to stay in control.

"Can you just talk to him and end this silent treatment please?" Pansy whined.

The girls sat in the library, working on a transfiguration paper. They had just finished school for the day, and since it was nearly winter, it was already getting dark outside.

"Pansy, it's only been three days, and he hasn't even tried apologizing to me," Willow said, keeping her focus on her paper.

"Oh my god, so he didn't say he loves you back. You guys were drunk! We all know he loves you anyways, you've been together forever. Just forgive him already!" Pansy said, exasperated. She had lost all focus on her paper, and was now threading tiny braids into her smooth brown hair.

"That's the problem, Pansy! There's nothing to forgive! He didn't even try to apologize, and it's not just that he didn't say he loves me. He said he loves having me. Toxic much? I am not a fucking object," Willow got out all in one breath.

"Whatever, you're just reading into it too much. Your relationship isn't toxic at all, in fact the whole 'having you' thing is kind of kinky. Besides, you should be grateful that you're dating Draco Malfoy. Do you know how many girls would die to be you?" Pansy exclaimed, and what she said made the whole unfriending everyone and restarting her life thing sound very appealing to Willow.

"Oh, okay. You're right. Let me go bow down to Draco Malfoy, the king. 'Thank you your majesty, for giving me this great honour. Would you like me to change anything for you? Is this hair colour okay? Should I get any surgeries to alter my face? My body? I want to be the girl of your dreams, Sir Malfoy.' No, Pansy, no. Draco chose to become my boyfriend. He signed up for this. He needs to get his shit together, and learn how to fucking love someone. Because I'm sick of being the only one who treats this like a real, big kid relationship," Willow said right into Pansy's shocked face, and stormed off.

It was cold. Sparkly snow fell onto Willow's eyelashes. There was not a single sound in the air. It was cold, but she couldn't feel it. Willow couldn't feel anything.
