After the whole dinner, Izuku had bought her favourite ice-cream for dessert. The two decided to reminenc about the old days, forgetting about their current fued- or no longer fued?
Ochako was completely okay with becoming friends once more. Whether they were getting together or not would be unmentioned for now. Even if Izuku was still in love with her and Ochako was still warry of her feelings, the two would remain as former peers.
For now at least.
Ochako left quite early, because they were friends. So yes, sleeping with Izuku was already thrown out the window. Mina would just have to suck it up and accept the new found friendship... Or old found?
Their relationship was yet to be understood, but what they both knew at the end of the night as they lied in their beds was that...
I'm happy we're friends again.

The next morning Ochako made her way to the Midoriya residence. No not Izuku, but rather his adorable, sweet, kind mother.
Ever since that time three years ago, Ochako made sure to stay in touch with Inko. Even if her and Izuku weren't together, she still kept the old women in mind. Not to mention Inko still cared about the brunette, even more so when they started having lunch together every second Sunday.
For Inko it was like having a daughter she never had. And after Izuku's... Situation... She was lonely. Having Ochako around was fulfilling in a way. Although she much appreciated Bakugo Mitsuki's daily visits.
"Inko-san!" Ochako called as she entered the house. She kicked off her shoes and was about to pass a familiar bedroom when Izuku stepped out.
"Izuku?"
"Ochako?"
The situation felt like deja vu for them as they smiled, laughing it off.
"Ochako-chan! I forgot to tell you Izuku was coming over to pick up some of his old things," Inko apologised, not knowing about the pair's understanding.
"It's okay," she waved Inko off before turning to the other Midoriya, "Staying for lunch?" she asked. Izuku nodded, dropping the box he carried onto the floor and followed the brunette to the kitchen.
Inko was stunned at the scene before her. She had no idea the two were on good terms.
"A-Are you two back together?" she asked hesitantly, the pair freezing for a moment.
"No, mom. We're just friends," Izuku answered for the both of them. Inko stared at the two as they got the table ready.
She wasn't sure what was going on, but she'd play along for now.
"Well, let's eat!" Inko stated. Izuku sat down as the two females placed the food down on the table.
The heroes ate quietly as the elder eyes the too suspiciously. The two oblivious to the woman sneaking glances at them.
Inko's frustration grew as she watched them eat, their faces neutral. When did they make up? Why weren't they fighting? Questions running threw her mind, as much as she loved the civil lunch, she was also curious.
Her son's ex as well as her son were on bad terms the last time she heard.
"Inko-san? Is something bothering you?" Ochako asked in concern. Inko had stopped eating with all her thinking going on. Izuku took notice as well, but let Ochako ask.
"I'm great," she lied, her son seeing right through her narrowing his eyes as if to say he knew she was lying.
She sighed.
"When did you guys become friends again? Ochako wasn't very fond of you a week ago," the eldest Midoriya stated. The ex-couple glanced at each before sending a smile towards Inko.
"Last night Izuku had me over for dinner,"
"We spoke things out and now Ochako and I are friends again...at least until other things figured out,"
Inko then took in their words. Izuku had asked her for dinner and they became friends.
"Is this one of those friends with benefits type of thing?"
The two blushed a deep red, coughing out dramatically as of they choked on something unexpected.
"No!" they yelled in unison, their cheeks as crimson as 'Crimson Riot'.
"Just friends," Ochako announced.
Although Izuku wished they could be something more, he'd have to settle with friends.
This didn't mean he wasn't giving up on her. No. He was going to have her again, even if it took him a hundred years.
Izuku ate silently, wanting very much to be with Ochako like they used to.
After lunch Ochako spoke a little with Inko before deciding to leave, not wanting to intrude on the long awaited mother-son time.
Izuku had tried to convince her to stay, but she declined the offer.
"I'll see you when I see you, Izuku. Goodbye Inko-san!"
"Bye sweetheart!"
Ochako waved Izuku goodbye, the greenet smiling while he closed the door, but it dropped immediately as she was out of sight.
"Mom!"
"Izu, I didn't mean to be nosy," Inko apologised half-heartedly as a smile was plastered on her face.
"You're going to scare her off before I even get the chance to ask her out again," Izuku groaned, falling down onto the couch.
"What do you mean scare her off? She likes me more than you," she stated for a fact. Izuku felt that deep in his chest. He wouldn't doubt Ochako would choose Inko over him. That's just how bad she used to hate him.
He'd have to change that.
"Did you visit him?" Inko changed the subject. Izuku's playful mood vanishing.
He stared down at his feet, a frown settling on his face as he thought.
"Not yet. I don't think I have the right to face him after running away for years," he answered honestly as his mother sat down beside him.
"He doesn't hate you for leaving, I'm sure he understands," she assured, rubbing his back softly as he leaned onto her shoulder.
"I'll see him next week maybe?" he thought out loud, Inko nodding her head.
"Why not take a friend with?" she suggested as he sighed.
"Maybe,"
Izuku pretended to forget about him ever since he got back, but the guilt was eating at him the more he was staying in Japan. It was disrespectful, to him at least.
He'd have to forget about his guilt and accept it.
He was going to see him.
