MOMBASA CITY

We stood at the ship's deck staring at the vast blue waters wandering what will happen to the guy who I did not know his name and I.The only way for me to save both of us was to become one with the ocean and help that guy to get to the shores.I could tell that we were a bit far in the ocean but the nearest coastal town was not that far from us.Inside the ship where we just left the creatures kept shouting by that I could tell they found their dead buddy and it was time to jump out of the ship or die I would have chose the latter since my life was meaningless but maybe pretty boy wanted to live I had to render the guy unconscious so I could help him I didn't want the guy to know who I was nobody knew me I didn't exist for the world.I jumped into the ocean and felt the water embrace me it had been so long since I got to taste the fresh waters  of the ocean again embracing the freshness of the water over my whole body.I balanced the guy over my body to keep him from drowning I had swum   for about an hour when an outline of the shores appeared before me and I could see tourists  swimming nearby."Dolphin mummy come see!"a little child screamed I quickly changed and held the guy in my arms as I made my way towards the shores.The dress clung way too tight to my body like a second skin because of the water which was attracting alot of attention from the beachboys."Perverts,"I thought.I remembered the guy unconscious in my arms  when I saw a group of people coming at us looking concerned.It looked really bad me holding pretty boy who was unconscious with his clothes tattered and me I pretty much looked like a homeless person but they didn't know that so I took courage and spoke in Swahili our national language."We were swimming enjoying the weather when a group of guys attacked us and he fought them and then as we got away from them my boyfriend fainted of exhaustion,"I explained."Wasaidieni(help them)," a man who looked to be in his late fifties said to the crowd.The Beach boys carried pretty boy away and I followed behind them.As we walked they told me they were taking us to a hotel and they would call a doctor to check on pretty boy.They wanted to keep us in separate rooms but I threw a fuss and demanded that my boyfriend and I will share a room."Pretty possessive,"I thought a smile formed on my face as I thought about such a super awesome good looking sweet guy with hazel golden eyes falling in love with me it's impossible at least my mind and my heart agreed with that one.I had never depended on anyone  or received love from anyone I took care of myself since I was a free spirit a force to be reckoned with a beast of the universe and a simpleton nobody wanted me.I only had one mission to do and then go back to my boring life,I had to make sure pretty boy takes a plane and gets back to his country safe and sound no matter what.I watched as the doctor examined him and nodded to himself and noting down some things on his notepad."Are you a family or anyway related to the young man?"asked the plump looking doctor with glasses too small for his eyes falling on the bridge of his nose."I am indeed kind sir he is my boyfriend and my fiancee, is there a problem with him you can tell me,"I said.The doctor stood up from the bed and motioned me to follow him outside the room and I did."His condition is really bad he looks like he won't make it.He is malnourished he seems he hasn't eaten food for months and his energy is near zero he can't fight back.His white blood cells are destroyed and they can't fight diseases for him anymore I'm sorry it seems this are your last moments with your fiancee,"he said.What he said made my chest tug just a little and my eyes water, ok it seemed I'd grown attached to the hazel eyed stranger.I was not going to let him die it doesn't matter what it took but I wouldn't let him go to hell and see big bad Mr  Satan I heard he is super creepy and I wouldn't let him go to heaven without me I mean that's the good stuff where everything is awesome and he might convince the almighty to show him who his fellow kidnapped buddy and savior was before he died.No way was I letting him go I opened the door to the room and found him standing at the door I guess he heard everything and he looked pale."I'm going to die,"he stated "I guess that's why I felt at ease nowadays like my soul is becoming one with the universe and my spirit is floating in the wind but when I met you I had hope I would live and survive to see another day.Then I'd go back to my family and friends who are worried sick about me,"he said.I had him say family and friends are worried sick were they all sick just like him I wondered."Are they also sick?"I asked.He shook his head and sighed as he walked towards his bed."No it means they are just really worried,"he answered.He spoke English with so much ease as if it was his first language comparing it with me who I could speak the forty seven languages in our country excluding English and our national language Kiswahili.I learned English when I was in the Savannah whenever tourists came to visit the gameparks and I would hear them speaking and I fell in love with the language and so I learned it through them without them knowing of course.How would people react if a wild animal spoke in English ...I was pulled out of my  thoughts when I heard a cracking of bones and when I turned before me was a dog.It looked like a dog but more feral I racked my brain to think of it's name and it dawned on me what it was.It was a wolf and I stood awed he looked really cute and cuddly and dangerous.Pretty boy was a wolf and I guess he turned into his wolf form to try and heal faster.I cut my wrist and shoved it to his mouth and said to him,"Drink some of my blood it will help you with nutrients and you will be fine after some days,"I said.He drank  without resistance and I could tell he was really desperate to survive.After he drank my blood he fell asleep immediately and it's effect started kicking in.I stared at the most adorable creature I had ever laid my honey brown eyes on it was so white giving snow competition but why did it almost look like a dog.I decided to leave him sleeping and go to the coast to explore and get him food.I'd walked past many rooms when the smell of alcohol hit my nose from the far corner towards the right and I hurried towards the bar.I had been given clothes by the hotel stuff once I pulled my father being a billionaire card and now I looked really presentable.Simple blue denim jeans,a white top, a black hoodie and nike sneakers.My braids were held in a ponytail and gel on my forehead to keep my baby hair's in place and no make up.My dusk skin glistened because of the treatment I had gotten in the hotel spa when they were helping pretty boy get into good clothes so they could check him up.I waltzed into the bar with a small smile on my face heading straight for the counter.I passed by turning quite a couple of heads before getting to the counter.The bartender turned to me and gave me a flirtatious smile I almost glared at him but played it cool because I needed food and information."Are you new around hear..."Pendo,my name is Pendo just call me that,"I said."Well Pendo, I'm Juma nice meeting you,"he said as he took his hand and passed for me to shake.I did cautiously knowing he was acting really warm and I didn't like that.I ordered for a cold coca cola and drank it my eyes trained at two people who I didn't feel their heartbeats and they looked at me.I had a feeling something was wrong but I played cool requesting Juma to get me as much food as he could.He agreed and I was relieved when he left and went to the back.The two couples who didn't have heartbeat's stood up and headed to the counter and each of them sat by my sides on the bar stools one to the left one to the right.The creatures were here and they had taken human form I could smell it on the two by my sides."You will quietly follow us and tell us where you hid the wolf you took from us,"the male one whispered icily.I continued smiling sipping my cola as I waited for the food patiently and I ignored them completely.Juma came back with a shopping bag filled with food and placed it before me."For you my lovely Pendo,"he smiled as he handed it to me.He noticed the two sitted close to me and he asked what they would like but they remained quiet."Excuse me, Juma what does this hotel do to those who harass their customers?"I asked.He looked confused and then worry appeared on his features,"Is there anyone harassing you?"I nodded acting scared."This two are bothering me,"I fake cried.His eyes got big the size of saucers and he shouted for the bouncers.The two creatures grabbed my arms and tried to take me but the bouncers came in on time luckily I slipped away leaving them to enjoy the company of eight packed  towering giant Kenyan bouncers who were looking pretty scary with the angry look in the emotionless black eyes.The creatures couldn't reveal their real form  because there were so many people and if they did they may be called demons and be burnt alive.I took my food and made my way out of the bar leaving them to deal with the security.I rushed into the room to find a half naked pretty boy sprawled out in bed sleeping I guessed he turned back after regaining his strength.His black hair fell on the pillow in waves his eyes closed his chest toned and he was adoned with six packs now that he was nearing recovery he seemed like the working out kind of guy.He looked like one of our warriors looking all gorgeous.I stared at him with open admiration and his presence felt now domineering and I became startled when his eyes flew open when I was inches away from his mouth eyeing his sharp nose.I quickly scurried away from him and ended up falling butt down on the floor.I got up and handed him the food and waited patiently as he opened it and looked between the food and me.It was fries and chicken and the other packed one had biriyani rice with lamb chops.I tasted all the food assuring him it wasn't poisoned and he began eating and it turned into him devouring all the food until he was chocked.I opened the water bottle for him and helped him drink and when he seemed satiated I took the remaining food and ate.I would never admit that I was still hungry even after eating because it was all worth it he would be fine.I don't know why I cared about him but I did."Please get dressed the creatures are looking for us I met with two of them downstairs in human form we need to get out of here,"I said casually.He looked at me astounded when he got up and pulled a shirt over his head then he started looking at me."Are you a dolphin?"he asked and I laughed."No, although I wish I was sometimes,"I said.He looked at me once again and put on his jacket."I know there is more to you than what just meets the eye and one day I'll know what you are,"he said.It didn't matter what I was or who I was what mattered is that he left my homeland safe to go back to where he belongs his pack must have been missing him.
