Iris’s POV:
Rhydian, Gabriel, Jacinta, Cameron and I were all sitting on the couches near the entrance waiting for Elijah to turn up with Nikita. A short while ago when the twins and I were watching a movie and Gabriel was studying, Rhydian walked in with some bad news.
There was a demon disguised as a nurse who had been working for the school. When Nikita was sent there with an injury the demon attacked and tried to kill her.
Thankfully Rhydian and Elijah were there and they managed to kill the demon. We are all here because Nikita saw the whole event and if a human witnesses something like that, their memories must be erased.
“We’re back” Elijah said when he walked through the front door carrying Nikita in his arms as if she were a princess.
“Here, lie her on the couch” Gabriel suggested.
We all sat on nearby couches, staring at her as if she were from another planet.
“Well what now?” asked Rhydian.
“We erase her memory and ship her off in a box and sent her to Africa?” Jacinta advised.
“Jacinta” her brother, Cameron warned.
“For starters we should probably figure out who she is” Elijah spoke making everyone look at me.
“A day or two after you left she woke up in hospital. The doctors told her what they were told to and she said that she doesn’t know what happened or how she got to the school. Other than her name, Nikita Samson, I don’t know anything about her” I shrugged my shoulders.
“Has she told you anything about her family?” questioned Gabriel.
“Last night she told me that her parents were the ones that signed her up for the Dexterity Programme and made her attend the school as a last minute decision. That doesn’t tell us why she arrived on a doorstep” I finished.
“We will have to erase her memory then” Cameron stated.
“But then we won’t know if she is one of us” argued Rhydian.
“We can’t tell her what really happened” Elijah said.
“If she is in the DP then she should already understand the situation” Gabriel pointed out.
“How do we even know that she knows the truth?” Jacinta asked.
‘We won’t find out if we make her forget everything” I reasoned.
“A demon came after her, her specifically. We need to know who she is” Rhydian demanded.
