Nikita’s POV:
I managed to avoid all of them this morning by rushing out the dorm and not looking back. I was here now though, I couldn’t avoid it any longer no matter how hard I tried.
“Hey” Rhydian called from the stairs he was walking down.
I jumped.
He gently laughed, probably trying not to scare me again.
“Calm down, we aren’t going to hurt you at all. Even if we do seem a little dangerous”
“Okay” I said, uncertain.
“Before Iris ad I start to explain everything to you, you should know that you still have a choice. You can learn about everything we are, or you can forget everything and go back to normal” he said as we walked up the steps.
“What if after I hear everything, I change my mind and I don’t want to know anymore?”
“It’s best if you don’t do that. The more you know about us the harder it is for you to forget. Trying to remove all of that much information can cause some serious damage” Rhydian sighed.
“Oh” I replied, reaching the top of the stairs.
“So, are you ready?” Rhydian asked as he opened the door to room number 20.
“Yes” I agreed.
“Hi Nikita” Iris smiled weakly as I took a seat opposite her at an extremely large table.
“Hey” I said softly.
“Okay, I have no clue on where to start so I will tell you a little bit more about us”
“Go ahead” I ordered.
“The six of us here are all called Dark Artists. We are no different to any other humam we just have a little something . . . extra” her eyes widened in excitement.
“You got that right” I scoffed.
“What she means is, Dark Artists are born with special powers” Rhydian corrected.
“Powers? Do you mean like Cameron and Jacinta’s . . .” I drifted off.
“Yes. Jacinta can conjure fire on demand but thankfully Cameron can do the same but with water so she doesn’t go burning stuff to the ground” Iris sighed in relief.
“How can Elijah make me fall asleep?”
“He can influence other people’s minds to do what he wants. You have to be mentally strong to shake him off” growled Rhydian.
