Although Kagaya said that he would formally introduce her to the pillars, it didn't mean that she couldn't stay completely hidden from them. Deciding whether it was a big risk or a even a risk at all, the light breath user wanted to go outside.

She enjoyed the sunlight, hence why she used light breathing. Soon enough, Y/N found herself standing where the pillars would be gathered later this afternoon. It was quite nice outside. The sky hardly had any clouds. Some birds were chirping in the trees as well.

Those loud and annoying pillars will finally get to see me. I should probably be on my best behavior. As much as they are annoying, they still deserve some respect.

Some faint voices caught Y/N's aware ears. She could recognize them as the sound Hashira and the flame Hashira. They'll see me! I have to go now! The demon slayer quickly vanished from sight and hid behind one of the wisteria trees that was farther away from the two pillars.

"Hey, Rengoku-san. Did you see that just now? It looked like someone just left quickly."

"I did not see anything, Uzui-san! Perhaps it was another pillar! They might have had some business with the master!" The flame Hashira said in a loud, confident voice.

I am no pillar. Don't lump me in with you guys. I could take all of you on and still defeat you. Also you don't need to shout. The sound Hashira is literally right next to you.

"Alright then. I'll be flamboyantly preparing for the Hashira gathering later this afternoon. I'll see you soon Rengoku-san."

"Farewell to you as well!"

Then Y/N could see them retreating in different directions. How can you prepare flamboyantly? Also what is his obsession with using that word? Flamboyant? Why does the flame pillar always talk with a loud, booming voice? Does he not know he can speak without shouting?

The demon slayer sighed and relaxed against the wisteria tree. A demon slayer with a demon in tow? Interesting. No one has ever defended a demon before. Maybe Kamado has a logical reason for not killing it. I doubt the pillars will accept the demon. Knowing how they all are.

She raked a hand through her H/C hair and rested her other hand on the hilt of her nichirin sword. I feel hope for the demon. I've always thought there was a way to save demons, maybe this is it. There is some hope. Kamado, what kind of demon slayer are you?

"Father? Are you alright? Do you need me to assist you?" Y/N asked, as her father was standing before the closed doors. "It's alright my child. Hinaki and Nichika will help me. I'll call for you and you'll come out okay?"

The female hummed in response, standing behind the corridor so she wouldn't be seen. Her father set a hand on her head before opening the doors and showing himself to the awaiting people outside.

Y/N could hear the loud voices of the pillars and a kakushi. They were all shouting and yelling. It made a tick mark appear on the female's forehead. Oh how she hated loud noises. They're at it again. Have they no respect?

Suddenly, she heard everyone go silent. Father finally told them to shut up. Good thing, I can't stand their loud voices and obnoxious yelling all the time.

Her hand rested on the hilt of her blade that was tied around her waist. She felt comfort whenever her hand rested on the sword. It had become a habit of hers.

"Alright. You can come out now." Nichika called out to Y/N. This is it. Don't do anything foolish. The demon slayer took a deep breath and slid open the doors. She noticed the pillars all gasp and stare at her.
