THE PEOPLE WHO got in—can now enter i-land and people who didn't make it are to stay until further instructions so everyone was just scattered around preparing to leave to their designated locations.
belle was tearing up since she felt guilty, but it isn't her fault. you're glad her talents got acknowledged. can't say the same for you though.
you hugged belle, shion was patting her back and giving words of encouragement. "belle it's fine. you deserved it. we're gonna be okay, i promise."
"are you sure?" she sobbed into your shoulder.
"yeah," you nodded.
heeseung, sunghoon and jay approached you, they had sympathetic expressions on their faces. although, sunghoon kept quiet and never engaged in any conversation with you. you could tell he was also not the talkative type.
your eyebrows furrowed, "what's wrong?" you threw them a question.
"i really wish you got in too. i wanted to get to know you better." heeseung patted my shoulder.
what's wrong with these people. it's really not that deep. no one said you couldn't fail on this show. you just have to succeed the next time..
"me too. you and shion deserve a spot in i-land. damn, if shion got in, we could've gotten our own clown." jay pouted.
"there's no need since you're already there." shion punched jay on his shoulder.
she really has the habit of not using honorifics on people older than her smh
"it's okay. good luck jay and heeseung!" you gave them a tight-lipped smile. you used honorifics because you didn't want to seem impolite.
all the applicants that got into i-land stepped into the big egg shaped gate. they waved at us, smiling. the egg than turned, making them disappear from our view.
"hwaiting!" shion yelled, putting her arms up as sign of encouragement.
later, you and the rest were led to what was called the 'ground'.
"the ground is a facility for the dropouts and those who have not been able to enter the i-land. and there is no opportunity to debut while you are in here." the voice said.
"i got really worried, this wasn't any better than going home." you said to the camera.
after the screen turned off, everyone went to put their bags down, including you and shion.
"guys! just because we're girls, don't treat us any differently than you do to the boys, okay?" shion shouted with confidence, grinning.
