"I WONDER WHO'S GOING TO ARRIVE." seon asked, chuckling.
you paid no attention to them as the talked in front of you, too busy combing through shion's hair to calm her down. shion was an emotional person, sometimes she doesn't even notice that she's being emotional. you were always there for her when she's vulnerable just like right now.
"she's still crying?" heeseung takes notice of the both of you who are quiet while they were guessing who was coming.
"wait! don't ask tha-" you got cut off by shion's sobs. she tends to cry even more when someone asks her if she's crying or if she's okay.
"oh sorry!" heeseung apologizes.
"yah sunghoon-oppa, don't miss belle too much." you told the boy who was next to you. he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"uh what?" he asked, you hear the other guys laugh, "y/n, don't say things like that." he whispered to your ear in embarrassment, pinching your elbow.
you just shrugged at him in response.
"i hope hanbin-oppa comes." you told yourself but sunghoon heard you.
"you're close with him?"
you nodded, smiling fondly as sunghoon stared at you in bewilderment. "yeah, he's so sweet."
"this is the first time i've seen you smile like that." he said, "come to think of it i've never heard you laugh or cry before neither."
"is that supposed to be a bad thing?" you raised an eyebrow at him.
sunghoon laughed, "no, i guess not. but i want to be the first person to make you laugh." he admitted, honestly.
"you're being cheesy." you replied with slight disgust.
the egg gateway started rotating with everyone watching in anticipation. it would make you really happy if hanbin was one of the people to come to i-land.
"i'm back!" you almost jumped when jay screamed out of nowhere. shion immediately lets you go to run towards jay in excitement.
jake, youngbin and kyungmin followed jay down the steps. the guys were all cheering and being loud and you wanted to cover your poor ears but that might offend them.
"y/n!" jay ran to you as soon as he saw you before bear hugging you. "told you i'd come back."
you smiled, "good job, jay. but you're cutting off my blood circulation."
he unwraps his arms, laughing and goes to greet the other boys.
you were watching them as they mingled with each other with a small smile. a while ago, everyone was crying, now you were glad that they looked better than before. crying didn't really look good on these boys.
