I watch as Adam and Lucy slowly disappear into the forest until finally, they're out of view. We all stand there stunned for a minute or two before I hear Raina scream. I turn around to see her panicking her face white as if she was about to pass out. I turn to look at everyone else and realise what's happened. Anya... where's Anya? She was here just a second ago, she was in Raina's arms, where is she. Realization flushes over me and I figure out what's happened and before I know it, I'm running through the forest after them, Jedd following closely behind me. We're both screaming and yelling Anya's name but before we know it what seemed to be hours had passed and we we're both on the floor out of energy. I look back and realise we lost sight of the path. No. Raina, Taylor, they need us right now, I try to move to just get up and stumble back to them but its no good, I'm out of energy, I have no hope of crawling let alone walking. I start to cry. A grown man, and I'm crying. I feel Jedd's hand on my back and I start to cry more.
"Don't worry, once Rain's calmed down, she will do the same thing if she isn't already, I'm sure we'll all see each other again really soon. Let's just keep moving for now. Okay?"
I nod, it's the only thing I can do. I have to trust my sisters.
