My ears were ringing and I couldn't breathe. Everyone was silent but we were all thinking the same thing. If that was his condition, then that means they were watching. They knew what had happened. Raina was in real danger. I snapped out of it when I heard Jedd yelling, I looked around not being able to make out what he had said before I saw it. We all saw it. I was moving before I realised, we were all sprinting towards the fire, there was only one person it could be. I could feel the fear, the rage, the guilt everyone around me was running hoping they could get to her before anyone else, hoping we could save her.

It wasn't long before we got there, Taylor was the first there, she was on the floor, holding Raina in her arms. She was hurt, her head was bleeding and she stayed limp in Taylors arms. My heart dropped and I dropped to the floor. Jedd was stood behind me holding Anya and I could hear her screaming.

"Raina wake up" Taylor's voice was faint but I could tell she was trying her hardest not to break, I slowly walked towards my sister and placed my hand on her neck. I let out a breath "She still has a pulse" I felt myself smile. "We made it" Adam collapsed behind me, tears in his eyes. I tap Taylor on the shoulder and she moves so I can pick Raina up. I scoop up my little sister and she curls into my chest. I smile and look at the others. "What do you guys say about getting home?" I look round and see my family and my friends. We're all broken and bruised, you can tell we've been through hell, but the smiles on everyone's faces at this moment make it worth all the trouble. I look down at my sister in my arms and see she's smiling too.

"yeah, let's go home"

We all set off walking, honestly, we don't know where home is anymore, but I know we'll find somewhere.
