A True Friend

Y/N's POV:

The school was over and I was now walking to my house alone. I wanted to share how miserable I am feeling with someone. But who?
I decided to go to a Church.

I wasn't sure where was a church in my area or nearby so I turned on GPS to find a church near me. Luckily I got a location of a church nearby.

I entered the Church. I prayed that everything will be alright and I left the Church. Then again I was walking alone on the road.

"Y/N" I heard someone calling me
I turned around to see who it was.

Daniel? What's he doing here?

"Hey Y/N" he smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh me? I just came to visit the Church" I answered.

Daniel looked at me with pity eyes "Is everything alright?"

How did he find out? Is it written that I'm sad all over my face?

"Yes, Daniel why?" I smiled.

Daniel didn't believe me "Because people think about God only when they are in trouble" he stated.

I looked at Daniel but I didn't want to bother anyone by telling him my problems "Daniel trust me it's nothing" I assured him.

"Okay, then wanna hang out?" He asked me.
"Hell yeah," I cheered.

I and Daniel were roaming around the streets and it was kind of really warm and I was happy. Then I and Daniel went to a riverside and sat down.

"Y/N tell me about yourself," Daniel asked me.

About myself? What am I supposed to say? Why do people ask questions like this? ಠ◡ಠ

"Daniel I don't know what you say..." I replied.

Daniel looked at me "Like what are your hobbies, your likes and dislikes" he explained.

"Ah, I see. I like watching anime, I like to eat and I wish to watch sunsets and I don't know there are many things I like" I answered.

"That's interesting" he smiled.

"What are your likes and dislikes?" I asked.

Daniel looked up at the sky "I don't know about my likes but I will tell you my dislikes. My dislikes are bullies."

That's it ಠ_ಠ?

"Oh that's very specific" I stated.

After some time we started heading back. Throughout this whole time, Daniel had a smile on his face it looked like he was hiding something too.

"Daniel"

"Yes?"

"You're famous in school, how do you feel about that?" I asked him out of the blue. g

"Well it doesn't exactly make me happy but I was able to meet true friends like Zack, Zoe, Mira, Jay, Vasco and You" he answered.

Me?

I was shocked when he said I'm a true friend. I have never heard someone calling me their friend. "Thank you Daniel stopped and looked at each other.

"Thank you so much for today Daniel," I said.

"Oh Y/N and here this for you" he handed me a bar of chocolate.

"A chocolate? Well thanks".

We both waved goodbye and left. I'm happy that I spent my evening with Daniel he gives out positive vibes.

I reached my house and opened the door.

Looks like mom isn't home yet.

I placed the chocolate that Daniel gave me o a table. I changed my clothes and went to the kitchen grabbed myself a glass of water. I decided to eat the chocolate that Daniel gave me.

I took the chocolate and yeeted myself on the couch.

My couch is my true love (ꈍᴗꈍ).

I opened the chocolate that Daniel gave me but I noticed something written on the back of the chocolate wrapper.

It was a note from Daniel. It said:

"Y/N I hope you were happy today hanging out with me. Y/N I know you are not okay it's written all over on your face. But don't forget I'm always here for you and I'm always ready to listen to you :)

* Ding dong *

I heard the calling bell ring and went to open the door. It was Mom.

Yeah, who else is it going to be?

"Hi Honey" Mom smiled.

"Welcome back" I greeted her.

"Honey I have to pack my things up I'm leaving tomorrow night," she told as she entered the house

"TOMORROW?" I shouted.

"Yes I wanted to tell you this morning but you left before I could tell you" mom answered.

I should have stayed ರ_ರ.

Mom started to pack her things up. I was sad that I have to stay away from mom for 2-3 weeks.

"Honey your bodyguard he will be here tomorrow night when I leave," she said.

"Oh"

Mom came and sat beside me and brushed my hair "I'm sorry Y/N I hope you will forgive me one day" she apologized.

Tears filled my eyes when I heard what she said but I looked away
and acted tough "Yes it's alright".

Mom chuckled.

After some time I went to my room and lied on my bed.

Tomorrow I'm going to meet my bodyguard, I wonder how it's going to be.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep soon.
