The Retreat part-2

The bone-breaking punishments, the games and everything else in the retreat were tiring and at the same time, it was fun.

We had programs where we can express our talents like singing, dancing, etc. It was entertaining and made us feel relaxed after a hectic day.

"Ugh..." Zoe sighed leaning onto my shoulders.
I giggled "I'm tired too."
"Let's go to our dorms then," Mira suggested with a big smile on her face.

We nodded and started walking to our dorms.
"Yes! Finally." Zoe and I yeeted ourselves onto our beds and loosen our bodies.

"So tell me did you ask him?" Zoe asked me as she proned on the bed.

I awkwardly giggled at her question "Ahh about that-" I began

"Who's 'him' Y/N?" Mira looked at me with a wistful smirk.

"Mira, you don't know?" Zoe raised her eyebrows and continued "Y/N likes a guy."

"WHAT? No! It's not like that!" I tried to explain them. "I don't -" Zoe covered my mouth with her right hand before I could finish what I was about to say.

"Y/N...shhh." Zoe sighed and turned her gaze to Mira "So Mira there is this guy who Y/N has a crush on."

I shook and groaned trying to free my mouth.

"A guy?" Mira doubtfully asked Zoe.

"Yeah, the one with Brown hair. You Haven't seen him?" Zoe replied.

"Ahhh...I think I know you're talking about." Mira smirked at me "So did you ask him on a date?" Mira came closer to me curiously.

Zoe released me from her grip and I let out a breath and then began "It's not like what you think Mira. I ...I don't have a crush on him." I managed but when I told these words to Mira I felt the guilt lying straight to her face.

"Don't lie to me Y/N." Mira pouted and crossed her arms.

"Well...Mira, it's not like he's gonna date me or anything. He's just my bodyguard." I gradually quivered my lips.

"BODYGUARD?" The two female's jaws beside me dropped.

"I wasn't supposed to say that."ರ_ರ

"Wow! Y/N how does it feel like to have a bodyguard?"

"Does he follow you everywhere?"

"Have you gotten into any fight and has he saved you?"

"Do you guys sleep in the same room?"

They started to sprout out so some questions. That made me clench my fist.

"And Y/N have you guys -"

"CAN YOU JUST LET ME TALK?" I yelled that made both of them immediately sit back and stay quiet.

I sighed and began "I'm sorry about yelling at you guys. But you know he can't date me .Once my mom returns from her trip he'll go back and we'll never see each other again."

"How do you know that?" Mira raised a question.
Mira's question made me speechless and at the same time, I felt like I know the reason why.

I lowered my voice "What if he has a girlfriend?" I paused "I have asked this question once but he said no."

"You should directly ask him if he could go on a date with you." Mira shrugged "It's the only way." She paused as she held my hand tight "Johan isn't a guy who would use you and dump you after he's bored. If he loves you he would sacrifice anything for you."

My eyes widened when I heard these words and it was comforting. I slowly smiled "Okay I will."

Mira and Zoe gave me a big hug which made me feel better.

Our small heart to heart conversation was interrupted by a loud knock on the door. Mira shuffled to the doorknob and opened it.

It was Zack and Daniel accompanied by another short boy with specs and a bag of snacks in Zack's hand.
"Mira let's hang out," Zack asked Mira trying not to blush by looking at the beautiful girl in front of him.

We all played games, laughed, munched snacks in our mouths, it was moments like this that made me feel loved, happy and safe. It made me feel as if I was escaping the harsh reality.

After some time Zack, Zoe, and the boy were boozed out after drinking so much. Even though Daniel was drunk he was stable. I told Mira that I am going out for a small walk.

When I was about to leave the room I felt a hand grabbing my wrist. I had to turn around to see a tall, black-haired male looking at me.

"Where are you going Y/N?" Daniel asked me leaning closer.

"I'm going for a walk you wanna join?" I smiled.

Daniel nodded his head. He got up on his knees and we left the room.
